This lake front home has 4500sq ft living area, in a heavily wooded setting next to a stocked fishing pond.
There are very large rooms with two master bedrooms with King beds. All bedrooms have a lake view and there is a covered porch with fantastic views.
Lower level has two bedrooms and a full bath. There is also a large sitting room and a game room with ping pong table.
The main floor has a master bedroom and bath. A large sitting area and dining room flow together. There is also a kitchen and eating area.
The third floor has another master with a king bed and one bedroom with a queen bed, along with a bathroom.
The walk to the lake is very short and flat. There is a dock, but no slips for a boat
The home was directly on the lake with beautiful views. Plenty big enough for our family of 8.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ed’s lake house. He was super responsive before we even checked in and also throughout our stay, answering any questions we had. The house was great for our family and we had plenty of space to spread out and entertain. The house was clean and furnished very nicely. We would definitely stay there again!
When we arrived, the living room, master bathroom, and basement bedrooms and bathroom were filthy, had mud in them, and they were infested with insects. The sheets on beds were filthy with black stains and clumps of hair in them, so people had to wash their sheets when they arrived late at night. The towels were still in the laundry, and the cleaner came to do the laundry while we were in the house. The upstairs shower drain didn't work, so we only had two working showers for10 people. Disgusting brown water dripped onto someone's head from the ceiling in the kitchen. The grill does not get hot enough to actually cook meat, so we had to scramble to figure out how to cook dinner indoors for a group of people and had to eat in shifts. The back deck door doesn't lock because the pin doesn't set, which is problematic if you care about security. The outdoor furniture is unusable--at a summer house--because it hasn't been cleaned in probably years. The owner encouraged us to rent a boat, but there is nowhere to park the boat at the house. The back deck is filthy and rotting. There are entire plants growing out of the gutters, and the house looks completely unkempt. This house is not maintained at all. And to round out the awful experience, for which they charged quite a bit, the owner charged me to remove garbage--because he gave us the wrong pickup schedule. Would not recommend under any circumstances, ever.
Great weekend spent with family at this house on the lake. Property manager was very responsive to any questions we had and really helpful in planning our trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house worked great for our family and visiting friends. The location on the lake made it easy for us to access by boat. A lovely week in a great house!
Great quiet location on lake
First time staying at Lake Oconee Reynolds. Due to Covid we had limited access to the Ritz and area club house. If you enjoy golf this is the place to be. Limited activities for non golfers
House is generally clean but woodier outside than indicated in the photos. Also, please be advised that due to COVID, renters cannot use any of the golf, pool or tennis facilities nor eat at any of the restaurants on property, including at the Ritz Carlton.
Greatly enjoyed out Thanksgiving stay; will consider again.
Me and four close friends rented this spacious home. We all had our own rooms with beds to spare. The peaceful neighborhood and proximity to the lake made for a beautiful surrounding. Ed (the owner) was very responsive to all our needs and easily accessible. I would definitely stay here again!
