Continue into the living room, where a rustic stone fireplace and expansive picture windows frame views of the large, secluded backyard. The living room also boasts ample seating for large family gatherings. The dining room offers a comfortable charm, and the generously sized kitchen has been beautifully updated while maintaining its classic feel. Enjoy the private outdoor space while sipping your morning coffee on the spacious deck, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature.

The main floor features two cozy bedrooms and a vintage-inspired bathroom; the primary bedroom with a king, while the second bedroom is furnished with a queen.

Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Pet Friendly:
Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults.
* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furniture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property ,may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

    House was ok, but for the money I would expect a few things would be different. Kitchen was nice, actually all of the downstairs was nice, but the decor and some of the furniture was very outdated and garage sale-ish. None of this is a big deal, what made me give the 3 star rating, instead of 5 is that the bathroom rug downstairs was so dirty that I didn't want to step on it barefooted! Pillows were not comfortable and bed was marginal in the downstairs bedroom. Closet was so full of quilts, etc that there was no room to hang our clothes. Also, there were only 5 people in a house that would sleep 10 and we had to go buy toilet tissue on the next to last day.

    This home needs major help! I understand the Retro means out dated but this was far worse. The beds, bedding, towels and cookware needed to be replaced ASAP. Definitely would not recommend this place!

    We like to experience Tahoe as if it were not a world class destination with all the trappings of luxury lifestyle but rather as the cozy local getaway it was known for years ago, and to a smaller extent, presently. The Tahoma, Homewood and West Shore areas generally maintain that old Tahoe vibe and we appreciate that this rental is right in the mix of it. Homewood ski resort (Keep it Local!) is a short 5 minute walk, as is the beautiful waterfront, piers, general store and dining options. We loved our stay, and felt the home was perfect for our group. Kitchen was spacious and communal with everything you would need. Sleeping rooms were comfortable and clean. I only wish we had more time, but maybe next time we visit.
