Retreat at Union Creek I: Easy Walk to Lift, Hot Tub, Foosball, Shuttle

Great location for a family ski trip! Easy access to the mountain, and perfect for those that don't want to ski all day or stop for a break. Will be even better when the Lumberjack lift is replaced. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed

Location was awesome … the lift is about 50 yards from the house — house was super comfy and we used the outdoor grill for lunch almost everyday

If you’re looking for true ski‑in/ski‑out, this place nails it. You’re basically 50 feet from the run — easily the best access we’ve ever had. The kitchen is also well‑stocked, which made cooking super convenient after long days on the mountain.That said, there are a few things future guests should know. There are no extras provided — no pack‑and‑play, and absolutely no humidifiers allowed “for sanitary reasons.” Thankfully, the toilets were supplied, so at least the essentials made the cut.The gate screen was another challenge. When it doesn’t open, there’s no way to tell if it’s you, the code, or gate is malfunctioning. Once inside, finding the actual condo is its own adventure since there are no visible unit numbers anywhere.Inside, the bedrooms are perfectly fine. However, it’s clear no one actually lives here because there is nowhere to put clothes- prepare to live out of your suitcase. Except for the master which has a huge walk in closet!Overall: amazing location, the hot tub is perfect, the kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are fine, and prepare to have nose bleeds from the dry air.

House was in such a great location, for our family of skiiers to come and go as needed and even great views watching our family ski in each afternoon. Plenty of space and shuttle to villages was easy and convenient too!

Chrissy was quite helpful and accommodating. She sent me all the info regarding this place and we checked in that same day.The house was clean and well stocked. A bit disappointed in the condition of the carpeting and generally the flooring throughout the house. The carpet was bleach stained everywhere and the wood floors seemed weathered in spots.Some shower heads were leaking or had low water pressure. The refrigerator would not keep the food as cold as one would expect. General maintenance issues.The deck and outdoor space were pleasant.The property management team was great at communicating, making us feel welcomed and offering help.This was our 2nd choice for location but it worked out as it was a convenient drive to Vail Village which we visited both days. Not much available in the neighborhood as far as markets.coffee shops, etc. We needed medicine for a child and had to drive to Frisco to get some.The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Overall a good choice.Thank you!

This home was very well stocked. It was clean. Great hot tub. Great location. It is four levels so members of your group have some privacy. The main open living area is terrific. There is another great room for the kids to hangout. We were there in July but for skiers-the lift is very convenient to access.

Went for a ski trip and this place is truly ski in/ski out. Great jacuzzi on the upper level. Kitchen fully stocked. Great communication with the rental management company. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was great - large and good layout. Management was attentive with excellent communication and response time. Our only suggestion would be to replace the carpet. Would definitely rent from River Ridge again.

Right outside the convenient ski/mud room, you can be on the slopes and ski down to a place to get tickets and then a lift to start your day. The house was huge compared to what we usually get in Vail - more for your money at Copper! The 2 car garage was convenient and the hot tub was amazing. We were always cozy thanks to the radiant heating. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning and the bathrooms were well stocked. The hot tub specific towels were great. We were there for some really cold weather and I wish there had been a thermometer outside the kitchen window. Also, had an incident with the neighbor who was parked right behind the garage and was reluctant to move his truck. But none of this changed the fact that the house was perfect! I gave the furniture 4 stars because the dining room chair seats sink in the center like a donut. They could use repair or replacement. Thanks for a great stay!
