Beautifully renovated cottage in a stunning, quiet location 10 minutes outside Kinsale. House was very well equipped, little touches like milk, butter, tea and coffee appreciated. Host Denise was on hand for any queries, and was friendly and communicative.

Such a cute home in the most gorgeous setting! We loved our stay at the Leader Farmhouse. The house had everything we needed and we were a quick couple minutes driving from Kinsale. Not to mention the views just out your front door!

The place was great once we got in but, the owners were on vacation/holiday and forgot that they had booked with us and didn't respond about how to access the house until 30 minutes before we needed to check in which was very stressful. The property was amazing. Incredible views and modern conveniences inside. It should be noted that the loft is best suited for someone younger with its lower ceiling and open to primary bedroom.

The cottage is cozy with absolutely incredible views. A short drive into town but far enough to get the charming, quiet rural experience.

We had never been to this part of Ireland. And Kinsale is a lovely area to stay around. Denise and Darlene - the delightful twin sister hosts could not have been more helpful. They were always attentive and informative but never intrusive. The property - restored by the sisters to its former glory is beautiful. The facilities are great and it has a beautiful vista over the Bandon. Kinsale itself is a lovely town with great pubs, restaurants (Bulmans and Man Friday were great), cafes and places to look around. It is a great base to drive further south west to Mizen Head, Skibbereen (sobering famine history) and Clonakilty (black pudding and Michael Collins house!). The only disadvantage (not the owners fault!) is that you do need a car to get into Kinsale so one night we left if in town, had a few drinks and walked (25 mins) to go to pick it up! Great holiday. Thank you Denise and Darlene

Lovely stay in the tastefully furnished and well equipped cottage. The children loved the cows behind the house. We had some milk, scones and butter in the kitchen and freshly cut flowers on the table, which was a pleasant surprise on arrival.

Very cozy. Perfectly situated to visit family outside of Cork. Close enough to Cork City and to the west coast areas. The view each morning out the front was glorious.
