The large red brick bungalow was built in 1919 by Benham Hunsaker, an Ogden resident who worked at the famed Stockyards on the west side of the river. In 1946, Mr. Hunsaker split his property into 3 units, to accommodate the many returning WWII soldiers. The home went through many owners, and remained a triplex - one that housed less-than-illustrious residents. Stayed Jun 26, 2025We spent a whole month in this house to be near our new grand baby. We wanted a large house so other family members could come throughout the month to meet the newest addition to the family. We spent many early morning hours on the porch having coffee and enjoying the evening weather with a beer. The large dining room table allowed space for us to eat around the table and to play games. Our daughter and husband have a Great Dane so we wanted to be able to bring the dog over for visits too. The historical homes on the street were fun to read about. We took many walks to downtown for dinner. I felt like this was my own home. Thank you Sue for making us feel welcome.

Stayed Jun 17, 2025This house is amazing! The house is exactly as described. It spacious yet homey. Everything we needed was there....including jigsaw puzzles for the quiet times. Will definitely stay here for my next extended stay in Ogden.

Stayed Mar 18, 2025We were two parents, one college son and one adult son. Great restored house in a great location! We could walk downtown and to 25th street and it was less than 2 mile drive up to trails. Snowbasin only 30 min drive away. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Large and lots of spaces for hanging out. Beds were very comfortable! Sue was a great host and gave us good suggestions for the area. Will stay here again next time we visit!

Stayed Jan 28, 2025Quite impressed with the house. We all enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of seating in the living room and especially liked the huge dining room table with enough chairs (and then some) for our group. Would stay again.
