Residence at Marston

The property was everything we hoped it would be and more. The interior was super clean and the utilities were modern. The neighborhood was quiet with no concerns for your safety. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Check-in was seamless. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This was the perfect location for us. We flew into town for business and stayed a few extra days to see the area. It was very close to the airport and all the activities in Anchorage. Very quiet neighborhood. The hosts were wonderful and gave us good tips for our first time here. We plan to come back and stay at the same property. House was perfect for all 5 of us.

My friends and I stayed here 4 nights on a quilt retreat. This is a lovely, contemporary home located within walking distance of the most scenic trail in Anchorage. It’s in a quiet neighborhood near the inlet. The space is much larger than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is well outfitted. We had everything needed to cook and serve meals. The hosts are exceptionally responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this property for any vacation or get-away.

We have a niece that teaches up here and we came to meet her. This house was perfect for us and close to restaurants and shopping!

Absolutely beautiful neighborhood within short walk to coastal trail. House was very clean, kitchen well equipped, comfortable bed in primary suite (other guest rooms were not used), great bathroom and shower. Most notably, the hosts, Emmanuel and Nicole, were incredibly kind and accommodating. Very responsive, felt like staying at a good friend’s house. Best VRBO experience yet.

A Bear and 2 cubs passed by the house while we were there and there was a moose across the street this morning. The house was very clean and comfortable. The 4th bedroom on the main floor does not have room darkening shades so may want eye masks.

We loved staying at this beautiful home, located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located, very convenient to shopping and downtown. The owner was super sweet and easy to communicate with, which made it a great experience for us.

Our family of 5 that will be heading in different directions wanted to experience Alaska and not from a cruise perspective. We arrived 6/10/23. Emmanuel and Nicole were the perfect hosts. House is nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to the Coastal Trail. The home is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. His communication was excellent and our stay was perfect w lots of room to spread out. We certainly understand the no shoes in house rule. With every adventure u will return w pieces of Alaska in ur shoes. Navigating Anchorage is super easy. It made for a perfect home base. Train station and Costco are close. We rented a large SUV through Alaskan Car Rental and that was seamless. Not located at the airport but u avoid all of those taxes. Book early especially in the summer. We would absolutely, stay there again. It was amazing. Especially w the 21 hours of daylight! Book early or u will miss out on this gem! Thanks again Emmanuel!
