Just steps away from Old Haywood in West Asheville, our home maintains the charm of a 1900s cottage with new upgrades (roof, main bedroom with attached bath) from a summer renovation. Our new main bedroom with attached bath has a brand new soaking tub overlooking the back yard to relax in after a long day exploring West Asheville or working from a local coffee shop.

Walk to the library, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars - our favorites are Odd's Cafe with the attached Retrocade andNine Mile. Take a short drive to downtown Asheville or the River Arts district.

Our 3 bedroom home is furnished in a flexible way to allow families an escape or a great work-from-home setting for those needing office space. The main bedroom has a queen bed, large closet, and plenty of space to settle in. The second bedroom is furnished with a twin pull-down murphy bed. The third bedroom has a double bed and desk/table so as to configure as either an office or a sleeping space (or both ). Whatever your needs for your stay, we can accommodate!

Our home is available only for 31+ day (medium-long term) rentals. We're happy to work out the details - send us a booking request and we look forward to chatting.

House Rules

Welcome to Our Cozy West Asheville Retreat!

We’re delighted you’ve chosen our little hideaway for your stay. To keep things comfortable and fun, here’s a guide to making the most of your visit.

1. Make Yourself at Home (But Not Too Much)
Relax, unwind, and enjoy! Just remember, this is still our home. Feel free to kick back, but maybe skip the indoor campfire.

2. Shoes Off, Comfort On
Please leave your shoes at the door to keep things fresh and clean. Cozy slippers are encouraged—bonus points if they’re extra fluffy!

3. No Pets Allowed
As much as we love animals, our home is a pet-free space to keep things fresh and allergy-friendly for all guests.

4. Stock Up!
We’ve provided essentials like toilet paper, laundry detergent, and soap for the first few days. After that, please restock as needed.

5. Conserve Energy, Stay Cozy
Turn off lights and unplug devices when you’re not using them. It’s good for the planet (and helps keep the electric gremlins at bay).

6. Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 7 AM
Enjoy our peaceful neighborhood. Feel free to stargaze or relax on the porch, but please keep noise to a minimum during quiet hours.

7. No Wild Experiments, Please
We know Asheville inspires creativity, but please avoid DIY projects or rearranging the furniture. Our home enjoys staying just the way it is.

8. Share a Memory
We’d love it if you’d leave a note in our guestbook or share a special memory from your trip. Good vibes are always welcome here.

9. Need a Hand
Our contact info is located in the house manual. Whether it’s a tech glitch or a small household hiccup, we’re here to help.

10. Trash & Recycling
Take out trash and recycling regularly. Bins are located behind the home near our parking area.

11. Parking
Please park on the street or in the parking spot behind the house. We share a driveway with our amazing neighbors, and want to ensure everyone can get where they're going!

12. No Smoking Indoors
This is a smoke-free home. Smoking is allowed outside only.

13. Outdoor Spaces
Feel free to enjoy the porch and back garden, but please keep it tidy.

14. Laundry Use
The washer and dryer are available for your use. Please don’t overload the machines and remember to empty the lint!

15. Emergency Procedures
In case of emergency, follow the safety procedures outlined in the guest manual. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit locations are in the kitchen drawers near the refrigerator.

17. Respect the Neighbors
Keep music and conversations at respectful levels, especially when outside. We love our neighbors and hope you will too!

18. No Unauthorized Guests or Events
Only guests included in your reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Please inform us if you have visitors during your stay.

Thank you for choosing our home for your stay. We hope it’s a relaxing, memorable retreat filled with great moments and happy memories!

We loved the location, at the western end of West Asheville Village. Several great restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The neighborhood is great for walking, either to the village or among the 100-year-old homes. The front yard has a variety of flowers that bloom for months. Most of the house maintains its vintage character, but the master bedroom and bathroom have been recently modernized. All the rooms are fairly large except for one bedroom, which is good for a child or storage. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, enjoying the birds and flowers.
