THINGS TO KNOW

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

This property is located in an R1-zoned area.  Per Ocean City Ordinance, the maximum occupancy in a dwelling in the R-1 single family residential district and the MH mobile home residential district being used as a premises for habitation/rental housing unit, is two persons per bedroom, plus two additional persons, provided that occupancy does not exceed the maximum allowed occupancy under Chapter 10 and the dwelling's or building's allowed occupancy use for its provided fire protection features required under Chapter 34.  The maximum occupancy limit is strictly enforced.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

    Great location! Beautiful setup right on the bay! Well laid out home! Weather was great first half and then the temperature plummeted but all was fun. Will be back again.

    The property was lovely, spacious and bright with beautiful views of the harbor on the bay. The beds were comfortable with clean linens, and the home was very clean. The kitchen was open and well equipped for the most part. The only area I think for improvement would be the shower head in the master bathroom needs replacing, as the water pressure was almost nonexistent. But it was okay in the second bathroom. Also, as a few others have written, the sun coming in through the bay window is a bit much, and very bright without the ability to pull down shades or curtains. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and we hope to rent the unit again someday. Thank you.

    We had a great stay at a beautiful house. Clean and comfortable place. It was a great place to ring in the new year. The view of the fireworks over the bay was a bonus surprise.

    The house was clean and comfortable, but we were surprised that a beach house (a short drive/walk to the ocean) did not have an umbrella for the picnic table on the deck, which would have provided much needed shade on hot, sunny days, and did not have beach chairs and/or beach umbrellas available (we had to buy our own). Also, the deck is full of splinters, and does not have a plexi-glass or other protective barrier to keep kids or pets from toppling onto the pier below.

    Perfect place for a mini vacation. If you are looking for a place that is close to everything ( Beach, boardwalk, Assateague Island etc.) you should definitely have a look at this place. Best part for me was getting up early in the morning sitting outside enjoying my coffee looking at the water. The layout of the house was great as well. In my opinion the best part of the house is the living room. The living room has a beautiful big window that allows visitors to always have a picture perfect view overlooking the outside of the property. Overall, i was very pleased with the property including the neighborhood it is located in. Things that could be improved: As much as i loved the beautiful big window in the living room i think it should have a curtain so one can close it, and give people a bit more privacy especially at night. Hopefully on my next stay the fireplace will be working No batteries in the miniature Candles on top of fireplace
