The newly Renovated Craven Street Loft was originally built in 1880. A complete restoration of the property was completed in December of 2016. Before undergoing renovations the property was featured on HGTV House Hunters
The one bedroom one bathroom loft is located on the beautiful Oak tree lined Craven Street, where you can watch the carriage tours stroll or enjoy a short walk to the shops and restaurants Downtown Beaufort.
The property has many retro up fits but still holds its historic character and charm. The originally Heart Pine floors flow throughout and the claw foot tub/ shower in the bathroom just to name a few of the many original touches in the Loft.
Some of the amenities include a flat screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, Queen bed with memory foam, bed and bath linens, kitchen utensils and cookware, both a traditional coffee maker and Keurig, dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator/ icemaker, washer/ dryer, board games, and more. There a private driveway with off street parking located behind the Loft.

This was my wife's b'day weekend and she wanted a change of scenery. We were pleasantly surprised with the space and it's proximity to the Riverfront. Also, this place was spotless!! Like pristinely clean. We hope to return again and again!
Our second visit was just as lovely as our first in every way!
Great Location, walk to town. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay again. Thank you!
We enjoyed being near all activities! We loved the place and street with Spanish moss and horse drawn carriages!
The place was super clean and the location in downtown Beaufort is perfect. The suite was actually much more roomy than the on line posting showed and it had all the essentials, from kitchen items to games.
This is a wonderful location to walk about Beaufort with easy driving access all around the area. During our two-week stay, we really got to experience life in Beaufort, get to know locals, and live in the historic area with all the sites and sounds of the neighborhood. Clean, well stocked kitchen and laundry.
The bed was terribly creaky and the pillows awful. Otherwise the apartment was nice. A few cobwebs in the bedroom, which drive me crazy, but well appointed.
In a period when short term rentals in Beaufort are looking increasingly focused on the bottom line, this place stands out.
Great stay! Clean, comfortable, and cute property!
Beaufort's fine dining, palatial historic homes, and boutiques-a-plenty, (minus major grocery) all within few blocks easy walking distance. Few examples....Wren restaurant, Beaufort Sweets, St Helena Anglican Church and Cemetery, Rhett House Inn. Apartment was immaculate and overall well stocked. The 2nd floor stairs are quite steep, and bathroom has a claw foot tub. Not for guests with arthritis complaints or mobility issues. But worked beautifully for us.
Great place
