We stayed here for three nights and had an amazing time. Our group was a bachelor party of 10 guys. The house - The house is amazing, beautiful, and huge, as you can see from the pictures. Note that there are actually 3 real bedrooms, one room with a fold out sofa, and another fold out futon downstairs. The owner was kind enough to get a few air mattresses for us so no one had to share beds. The balance of the house is huge - two formal living rooms, a formal dining room, a beautiful sun room, and a nice back yard. Furnishings look like they are right out of architectural digest. The block is clean and nice, but Old Louisville is certainly a developing area so you should be aware of your surroundings. There are a few stores you can walk to but we mostly drove everywhere. Ellen is an amazing host - she left us a bottle of bourbon upon arrival, arranged all of the bedrooms beautifully, and even made home made bourbon chocolates!!! Really quite nice. Her restaurant and bar recommendations were also spot on. I would certainly rent this house again next time I am in town! - Dan
