Renovated, dog-friendly home with hot tub, fire pit and sound views

space needs a deep clean and some TLC

My family and I had an interesting trip to Orcas Island, but the one place we had no complaints was the vacation home. It was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. It all had all the amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of games and movies to watch. The wifi worked great. After we hit the grocery store, there was no reason to leave. That may be the one downside, once we got there no one wanted to leave, and we saw very little of the island. Maybe next time we visit we will see some of the island since my children are already bugging me to go back.

The WiFi - we let the property manager know and they fixed it when they could. The house was nice. No water access. Just trees with water distant views. I would stay here again- especially if I do not need fast internet.

Beautiful, unique home right on the water. The home is set up for dogs with a fenced in yard area. The views are fantastic from the deck. Highly recommend!!

The back deck overlooking the trees and water was the perfect place for a group of 6 to relax and enjoy the scenery. The house was comfortable and nicely furnished. We found the house clean with plenty of extra linens. Great bathtub. Quiet and fairly secluded location. We would definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful house at the end of a sweet road. Beautiful deck with a fantastic view! Great bathtub, comfortable, cozy bedrooms and group areas.Very responsive to calls/texts about using the bbq.We will definitely return!

Our small group of four adults and one pup greatly enjoyed Shore Thing Retreat. We were easily able to spread out into our own spaces, gathering in the kitchen, living room, and outside deck with exceptional eastsound views. We were a short drive into town and enjoyed all of the amenities, smart TV, well stocked kitchen with coffee maker and teapot, and fenced pet relief area.

Loved the deck and view. Had fun playing ping pong and cornhole. Place was very clean and comfortable for three couples.

Terrific views of the sound, boats, eagles, etc. we were six people, two in each bedroom, and very comfortable. There is no direct access to the beach, but that seems to be an issue all over Orcas, unless you stay at a place that has its own beach.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The home has everything that anyone could need, including large families and people with pets.

Lovely home in a quiet setting with a view between the trees of the water. The house was well furnished, easily accommodated our family group of 3 couples. Loved the deck, and the side yard perfect for our small dog. Located centrally on the island--easy to visit any location. would love to return in future.
