Private house that was completely renovated in 2020. We are following all recommended cleaning processes.

This recently renovated one-level house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths is located in a quiet part of coastal South Oceanside. It is just blocks from a local beach and many restaurants/shops. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from highway 5, it is the perfect location whether you want to enjoy the beach area, or visit major attractions including the Zoo, Seaworld, Legoland, or even Disneyland.


As you enter the house, you will see an open floor design, with the main sitting area, kitchen, and dinning area all together . The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, and let's not forget about the wine-opener! The family room has a comfortable sitting area with a 60 inch smart (Roku) TV, with all standard cable/ local channels with DVR capability. Free hi-speed Wi-Fi is also provided .

You can take advantage of the great year-round weather the area is known for on your private patio which includes a gas grill, outside furniture and two lounge chairs.
Two bedrooms have queen beds, while a third smaller bedroom has a full sized bed. Two full sized bathrooms, both with newly tiled stall showers, are available from all rooms (soap, shampoo provided). Sorry, no bathtubs. Fresh linens and towels are provided as well as a hair dryer. In case you need to do any wash, the house has a large washer and dryer and detergent is also provided.

To make sure you are comfortable, the renovations included central A/C. Although the beach areas are known for their moderate temps, hot weather can occur anytime of the year. Even during the winter!

Large vehicals over 17 feet long will not fit into garage, and free street parking would have to be used. Typically spots can be found within a 1.5 blocks. Standard size SUVs will fit.

Since mostly locals live on the block, there typcially is a close parking spot on the street close to the house. There is also a dedicated parking spot in a garage on the back of the property which is shared with another rental.

No vacation is complete without taking a short walk to the popular Buccaneer Beach to see the sunset or perhaps to take advantage of the park which has a great playground for children. If you go before noon (2pm on weekends) you have to visit “The Buccaneer Cafe” located just across the street from Buccaneer beach (PS - try the Loco Moco or award winning cheese burgers).

If you just want to relax on the beach, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, a beach cart, and kids sand toys are provided.

Two beach bike are provided, and upon request additional bikes including a child's bike, may be available (we do not provide helmets and it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to ride without a helmet so please bring one if needed).

On Thursdays, you should plan on visiting the Oceanside Farmers Market.

If there is a need for more than the small local shops, you can take a short 10 min drive to the “Carlsbad Outlet Mall”, or “The Forum Shops” located in nearby Encinitas.
FYI, a small local market called “Primos” (very famous with the locals), is located just a few blocks away. You will be shocked to find they happen to have a great fresh meat counter in the back part of the store!
For those with babies, I can provide a pack 'n play and booster seat if requested.

Beaware that the train runs close to the beach in Oceanside and you will hear the train whistle. It has not been a problem as you can see from the reviews.

Policies:
- With payment you will be agreeing to abide to Oceanside's Good Nieghbor Policy (GNP) which can be seen in full on the rental contract. The GNP does not allow load load noises after 10pm, limits daytime guests to 10 people up till 10pm, and requires you to inform all occupents of these rules.
- No smoking inside the house or on the patio
- One well behaved dog is allowed if requested at time of reservation (ask if more than one dog)
- No drugs allowed at the property
- Must be at least 25 years old to book

    This is a beautiful bungalow that is a 10 minute walk to the beach! It is a short drive to Oceans Pier, which we enjoyed daily. Shops, restaurants and beer pub down the street. Well appointed home with a nice backyard for our dog. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable with nice mattresses for a great night of sleep. We throughly enjoyed using the beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach daily. Warren was very easy to get in touch with and excellent at responding. The house was very clean and a nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our week long stay in Oceanside! We highly recommend this rental and look forward to going back to Warrens bungalow again!!!

    Everything was perfect except we had to pick up trucks and neither one would fit in the garage so we was always searching for parking. It was Memorial Day weekend and everybody had company we believe. The neighbor got really upset and cussed us out for parking partially on his property a couple times. We would definitely pick this place again the only difference being we would rent a car instead of a truck :-) the owners were extremely helpful and kind and went out of their way to make sure everything was good.

    The location is great for walking to restaurants of all sorts and for a short walk to the beach. We especially loved the convenience of a covered garage and fenced yard. Warren was quick to respond when we had a small glitch with the TV reception. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

    Warren and Meryl's place in Oceanside was a delightful stay. It is a beautiful and comfy home, very clean and spacious. The updated kitchen was well equipped and thoughtfully supplied with spices and condiments. The information provided about the property and the local area was very thorough and helpful. The hosts were very responsive. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.

    Wonderful property. This place has it all. 3 bd 2 bath, nice kitchen, super comfy couch w/great outdoor spaces for pup! Very clean, well appointed house. Easy TV set up, tons of channels. Close to restaurants and a beach close by! Warren, the host is very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again!

    We stayed at this property (family of 4) for two weeks. Even though we didn't need anything, the manager reached out to make sure we were comfortable. Everything in the house worked well and was tidy when we arrived. Had a great time driving to some of the beaches nearby!
