Renovated 6 Bedroom 5 Bathroom Home 10 Minutes from Downtown Chicago

This home was everything we were looking for to accommodate our larger family. The home is exactly as pictured. The host was accessible and welcoming.The location was convenient to downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and appeared to be safe.We will definitely book again!!

Everything was as advertised

Very nice property inside- clean and comfortable. Accurate listing pictures. However, the neighborhood was unsafe- was warned by Uber drivers not to go out alone or in the evening. Not knowing Chicago, this was very unfortunate to find out after the fact. We also had to reach out to the host to get the access code instead of receiving it prior to check-in.

The house is very big and clean. The AC thermostat must be check because every morning the house gets very hot. All the chairs of the dinning table are loose.The rest was excellent.

Home was very nice but internet was too slow.

Jean was a great host! Very quick to respond. The property was beautiful and the garage was an added bonus. I would recommend this house to a large group.

The house was beautiful and check-in was easy. It was a great place for my family to gather and spend time together. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was a delight to work in.

Nice property, easy entry instructions and instructions for upkeep (garbage etc).. Was impressed by the size of the building as it does not appear so large from the outside. The 8 minute drive to McCormick place was extremely nice and made this home an obvious pick..Look up Bronzeville before booking, although we had no problem with the location.

We had a group of 8 that was attending a basketball tournament at McCormick Place. The house is an easy 10 minute drive from McCormick, and it was much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. The house is very large and spacious. We could have had a bigger group and still would have had plenty of room. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were decent. They had everything we needed in the kitchen, and they even provided small soaps and toiletries in all the bathrooms, which was a nice surprise. Having two washers and dryers was also so convenient and a huge plus. The only thing I marked down for was cleanliness. There were crumbs on the kitchen floor and moldy coffee grounds in the coffee maker when we arrived. There was also hair in all the showers/tubs. I would still stay here again, though, and would recommend the house to anyone staying in this area looking for a spacious accommodation for a large family or multiple families.

We loved the location and set up of the 4 floors.It worked perfect for our 2 families.We had a couple minor issues and Jean was great to communicate with. Thank you!

This was a perfect family getaway experience. The house was as described and the bathrooms a-plenty. Our group was mainly adults and no one was cramped for space. I most appreciated the main floor bedroom for my elderly mother to stay, (no trip hazards to navigate), A major blessing and another serious plus to your place was the easy access to the EL. We were able to get to all our events without dealing with Chicago traffic or insane parking! Thank you so very, very, much for making our 25th anniversary a truly memorable occasion!!!

Near the train station, and walkable to a few local coffee shops and eateries. My family group (including 2 kids under the age of 2) we're very comfortable here. The number of bathrooms was so helpful!! The host was very communicative and easy to reach via VRBO messages.

To say we enjoyed our stay, is an understatement. My sister was able you bring in her 21st birthday properly along with her close friends. It was so spacious, everyone had their own area to hang out. The master bedroom is gorgeous, a real selling point. My only regret is that it is winter && we were unable to enjoy the backyard. Our host was amazing and very helpful during the whole process, any question was promptly answered. If you’re looking for a nice place in a quiet area, don’t hesitate to book your stay. I promise you won’t regret it.

Overall a good experience. The check in and out details were vague. Few minor issues. Host was responsive to any questions I did have.

This place was wonderful with plenty of space for everyone , 8 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 15. The two washers and dryers and the play room were an added bonus. I would definitely recommend

Myself and 11 other women stayed here for my Bachelorette trip! Jean was very responsive and check in was easy to find. There is a garage in the back that easily fit two cars in it since we had to take atleast two cars for the amount of people we had. The place is four levels- a finished basement, main level and two upper levels so we had plenty of space! The place was also very clean! It originally was really hot and not cooling down but Jean was very responsive to this issue and we got it all figured out! Location wasn’t bad it was pretty much right in the middle of all the things we planned on doing! There is a cute patio set also in the fenced in yard! Overall we had a great stay, everyone was able to sleep in a bed so it definitely sleeps as many as it claims. Would definitely recommend this place or stay here again!
