You’ll have the entire house to yourself — featuring 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a queen air mattress for extra guests. The home is centrally located in the Shelby Park / Germantown neighborhood, putting you within minutes of Louisville’s best attractions, restaurants, and nightlife.

Full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot (coffee provided), toaster, and a full set of pots, pans, and cookware, travel-size shampoo and body wash per guest, laundry detergent, coffee/creamer/sugar, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, towels and washcloths, hair dryer, toilet paper, bedding, and pillows all included.

This property is conveniently located near the airport and the UPS Worldport Facility. On occasion — usually due to weather or air traffic changes — flight paths may shift temporarily, causing planes to pass overhead during the day or night. This is not the typical flight pattern and usually only lasts for a day or so. If this happens during your stay, you may wish to use a white noise app for sleeping comfort. Earplugs are also provided for your convenience.

Other Details to Note:
Please use the backyard and grill all you want. Please also clean the grill after use. No digging by dogs, please. If you are accompanied by your pets, you are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste in the yard. Please place in a baggie and into the black trash bin located in the alley just behind the house. Any fee charged by the lawn service for your pet waste removal will be passed along to you. IMPORTANT: The rear entrance/exit to the house does NOT have a handrail due to some updates coming in the spring. If you or someone in your group relies on a handrail to ascend/descend steps, please do not use this door. You can access the backyard through the side gate. Please also be very careful on the back patio. It has some cracks and is uneven which can make it hard to navigate for some. There is also a drain that, if covered by leaves, may be hard to see and can be a tripping hazard.

    Do not rent this property it has roaches so when I called the host to try to cancel because I couldn’t keep my kids in that environment he was extremely rude and refused to give me my money back I send the video and picture and he said that’s not my problem handle it with the merchant so I just left the property and booked a hotel.The area is definitely not safe it’s around all boarded up homes definitely not a kid friendly area

    This home was a great base of operations for our long weekend in Louisville. A short drive to downtown, and an easy (and safe!) walk to a lot of cool stuff in the area, including the Logan Street Market. The house was very spacious. Beds were comfortable, though one of them had sheets that were kind of foul-smelling. I especially appreciated that the host provided earplugs, as the neighbors had a loud party one of the nights we were there.

    Pet friendly home and location to a huge Park to walk your dog. Street parking but never had an issue finding a spot. Older part of Louisville but was a friendly area. A bunch of breweries very close by.

    Room was very clean. On street parking readily available close to house. Well appointed living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. Excellent shower. Occasionally could hear overhead noise from jets but did not interfere with sleep.

    The house was perfect! We loved everything about it. The decor was cute, very clean. The neighbors we met were very friendly. I walked my dog to the park up the street at night and I felt very safe. So close to the downtown area too! Matt was quick to respond with any questions we had. If my husband does the Louisville Ironman next year, we’d definitely stay here again.

    Never judge a book by its cover, right?!?!? Absolutely. The neighborhood may not look the best but it is quiet and friendly. The house is much bigger than one would think. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and the host was very accommodating with the supplies provided/needed. We had a wonderful time in Louisville. Thank you
