This place is phenomenal. My friends and I had such a a great weekend. Basically no complaints at all, but as other reviews mention just know the pool isn't heated (but you also have a hot tub!) Views were gorgeous and the property has tons of space. I'd love to come back.

Close enough to town, but far away enough to feel like a true retreat. The views were stunning and we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated because we just enjoyed being there. We even cancelled a dinner and a lunch reservation to maximize our time! Cooking in that amazing kitchen made it a lot of fun, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and pool (though it's not heated, so a bit chilly, depending on time of year). Paso Robles Vacation Rentals were very attentive and communicative. They handled everything very professionally and event sent someone out to the house right away when the freezer wasn't working. They were great to work with!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 11, 6 adults and 5 kids stayed at Renata’s Retreat for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time. The remote location, about 12 minutes from 101, with no neighbors close by, was perfect for a family getaway for a couple days. The kids were in the pool most of the time and also used the spa, played basketball games, ping pong and foosball in the game room. We went to Sensorio Saturday night, about 25 minutes away and had a blast playing board games as well. The home was very clean and well stocked and super comfortable. The internet went out about halfway through our trip but there were so many other things to do that it wasn’t missed at all. We would love to stay here again!

All rooms in the house were extremely clean, including linens, towels, and outside area. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need to cook and feed a large group. We enjoyed the pool every day, water was refreshing for peak summer weather but for off season enjoyment a water heater may be needed. Overall we love the property and highly recommend it.

Beds were very comfortable and ensured a good night sleep. Views are beautiful from the pool area and from the primary bedroom. Game room was a plus as the property is in a remote location. Beach is close enough for a day trip. Property management was very responsive when needed. Home well stocked for our large party. We really enjoyed our stay.

Large dining room table, plus another for games, puzzles. Large game room stocked as shown. Our stay was in July during very hot weather. Pool refreshing (no need for heat). Beds comfortable. Double-size living room for TV watching & games. Ample linens, including pool towels (and floats). Bathrooms had toiletries, hair dryer & tissue. Kitchen well-supplied, as was the pantry. The house has an Internet system in direct contact with management co. Auto-response is immediate. However, it takes time for staff to text back. Be advised that only one of our group had cell service (Verizon). Internet was steady, except when power out. Then no lights, ac, water or Internet available. [Outage no fault of Paso Robles Mgt.] There are a few upkeep issues at the house, but nothing that marred our stay. Many local attractions such as wineries, Cambria, Harmony & parks. I recommend Renata's Retreat to groups or families who want a quiet vacation stay in a rural area in a home with many amenities.

We loved the space and the pool. Everyone had fun and was able to relax!
