Stayed Sep 18, 2025The red rock view from the living room and the small porch is amazing; the kitchen has what you need for any type of cooking, and the beds are comfy. We had a problem with a smoke detector chirping early in the morning. We let the owner know and he arrived to fix it just a few minutes later.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024This was a great stay for our family -- my husband and me, our kids, their spouses, and our two toddler grandchildren. Matthew and Jean were terrific hosts. Before we arrived, Matthew arranged for two Pack 'n' Play travel cots for the grandkids, including new mattress covers, sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Everything was nicely arranged when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped, with great cookware and plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. We were able to cook full meals very easily. There's a water filter under the sink, so you can fill the kettle and cooking pots with filtered water with no trouble. The beds were good, with plenty of linens and towels, all in good condition. Lots of pillows and blankets as well. The view from the main room of the house -- kitchen, dining and living rooms -- is spectacular. You get to watch the sunrise over the stunning Sedona mountains, and sunset is lovely as well. The location is also excellent for access to various coffee shops, tourist shops and restaurants. And we loved our early morning walks to the Jim Thompson trail system. Matthew was great with answering our questions very quickly, and when we had a couple of small issues, he and Jean came over immediately to take care of them. Jean gave us some nice tips about where to hike and see the night sky as well. Really friendly hosts who want to make sure you have everything you need for your holiday.

Stayed Apr 25, 2024Comm with property manager was prompt and we were able to check in 30 min early which helped. Location was great. A short walk to the 'tourist' part of Sedona. View from the main living room was just as pictured and nice to wake up to. All of us have stayed at a lot of rentals and this one left us feeling underwhelmed. A big issue was that 1 of 3 bathrooms was essentially unusable. The shower dripped at max and on the second day the electrical outlets stopped working in that same bathroom. For 6 women, this was a problem. Additionally, the water heater needs to be adjusted to accommodate a larger group. We all timed our showers so as not to shower at the same time and took short showers because the hot water ran out fast. We often had luke warm showers. The downstairs feels dark and odd. Mostly because it's an add on and there is old carpet. This could be updated and would make a huge change. 2 big pluses were that the beds were comfortable and the location. Also it was well stocked however parking is minimal.

Stayed Oct 27, 2023Was expecting a nice interior with modern finishes and furniture. Instead furniture was a mismatch of pieces. Interior carpet was dirty. A few Kitchen drawers were broken. Toilet was broken and a few windows did not open. House needs some TLC. Location and views are great but house itself needs some caretaking.

Stayed Oct 2, 2023This property was clean and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view was spectacular! The living room furniture could have been a little bit more comfortable and there were no kitchen towels. That would not stop me from renting it again. We had 4 adult couples and it worked out perfectly! Thanks!

Stayed Jul 13, 2023Accurate listing. Easy check in and check out. More amenities than an average vrbo. Location and views from the house were fantastic. The downstairs ensuite was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Stayed Mar 25, 2023First trip to Sedona, and could not speak highly enough of this house and its location. The views are as spectacular as the pictures suggest, the main thoroughfare is just a couple of blocks away, and yet the surrounding streets are quiet with very little traffic. The layout of the house is very user-friendly, with the lovely light living room and kitchen facing the view, and two bedrooms and bathrooms facing the street. The two bedrooms downstairs are super comfortable, and being on a different floor, are great for friends or family members who like to retire early (eg. in our case, one of us was on East Coast time!). All of the beds and bed linens are top notch. Very important after a day of hiking! The jacuzzi is a wonderful bonus - easy to use and a perfect temperature. We hope to be back!

Stayed Nov 4, 2022Rented this property for 6 high school girlfriends who have been getting together at least once a year for almost 40 years. Chose this house because of location - easy walk to shopping, Uptown Massage, restaurants (including Elote) and trails - and because of the sleeping possibilities (2 kings, 1 queen and 2 twins) for some high maintenence sleepers. The hot tub was also a draw! Awesome to watch the sun and moon rise over the red rocks from the living room couches or outside porch.

Stayed Jan 2, 2022We love Sedona - this was probably my 15th trip to the area, so we have a lot of experience with accommodations in Sedona. We loved the location of this property - it was a short walk to uptown Sedona and all of the shops/restaurants. That was important to us since we had our young adult children with us, who didn't have rental cars. The house has two master suites with king sized beds, one bedroom with a queen sized bed, and one bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated, but completely functional, so we had no issues (except a loud knocking sound in the kitchen refrigerator which, in fairness to the owner, I didn't let him know about until after we left). The views from the living/dining rooms are spectacular. My only wish is that there was something in the cute yard to spend more time outdoors - a hot tub or fire pit would have been incredible. Oh - and the owner was really wonderful. Our flights were canceled and delayed multiple times, which had us arriving two days late. Our luggage arrived the night before we did and he went to the house to put it inside for us. We really appreciated that, along with all of the advice he gave us via messaging. He definitely communicates well! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.
