Very much enjoyed our stay.
We had a lovely time at the relaxing waterfront escape. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, kayaks & comfy beds. We enjoyed cold plunging in the Sound followed by warming up in the hot tub & walking on the beach with our pups. The host was very accommodating to our requests.
Beautiful property with beautiful views. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with dishes and utensils to prepare food for small groups. There is plenty of room and activities to keep you occupied, or just the perfect place to just relax. The communication and check in process was a super easy too! It’ll be my place to stay when I visit Olympia in the future. Thank you!
Had a fabulous time visiting for my sons third birthday. The house itself is beautiful, well maintained, clean and relaxing. Theres a tram to get down to the house (which my kiddos thoroughly enjoyed) because the house sits right on the beach. At high tide the water was up to the retaining wall, at low tide we explored the beach and saw seals and some orca whales! We rented a pontoon from the marina, which is super close and boated out to the different inlets so beautiful! The fact that you can wake up to a sunrise right over the water, with a giant mountain in view! 10/10 would recommend
This house has everything you could need for a getaway. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is stocked with all needed tools etc. The east facing position makes Mt. Rainier viewing primo! 12/10 would definitely recommend!
Our stay was so nice! From the dramatic tram entrance to the Mt. Rainier views, this little gem nestled near the top of Johnson’s Point was perfect for us! So relaxing to just sit by the water and stare at the view. Plenty of outdoor space to soak up the sun or stay cool in the shade. The hot tub views are incomparable! Even in hot weather (85 degrees+) the bedrooms stayed cool. Leaving a window or door open at night let’s the sound of the sound lull you to sleep (perfect screen placement helps ?). 12/10 would definitely recommend!
We have 3 kids 5 and under, this house was perfect for them to explore the beach, the National Parks, and Olympia, including the Children’s Museum. The tram/trolley works perfectly and couldn’t be easier to operate, and the kids loved the ride.
We had originally scheduled for early November but had to move it back to December. Wished we could have enjoyed the outdoors and amenities more but none the less we cozied up and enjoyed just being together. Id like to go back in the summer!! Thank you to our host she was perfect! Cute place and exactly as pictured.
Spent Thanksgiving weekend and we are used to bringing roasting pan, casserole pans, spices, flour. sugar, etc. None of that was necessary. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Tracey even asked if she should bring down a turkey roasting pan. The view is fantastic and just a few steps down to walkable beach if the tides not in. Beds are comfy. There's enough comfortable living room seating for our group. We even watched one of the many movies available. Was perfect for our group. We've been staying a beach lodging for Thanksgiving for over 30 years and this is the best one by far.
Shower water not hot enough, has everything in the house imaginable to cook
Everything about this property was excellent! Very clean, kitchen well-stocked (bring your own coffee grinder if needed), the views were stunning! There's a newly installed tram that really helps transport people and luggage rather than taking the stairs and it worked perfectly! As we were taken to the house via the tram we were impressed with the view of the mountain over the water — amazing! Hot tub is well positioned for a view of the water and mountains. So relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the waves. Kayaks were provided and getting out on the water was super fun! Nothing but good things to say about this magical place. Hope to go back one day! Cheers!
First of all, the brand new cable-trolley is wonderful! We enjoyed using the stairs to the house as a little workout and to justify that much more snacking, but for hauling our things/food/trash/firewood/etc up and down -- the trolley is a dream! The water and wildlife are gorgeous, the sunrise view was unreal, the house was cleaned, stocked, and practical. The host was communicative, responsive and accommodating despite being on an international trip herself (plus, she still provided 2 additional contacts with the extensive welcome information). There were virtually no questions that could have arisen that weren't in the house manual or the welcome info, but when they did we received prompt and courteous responses. We couldn't have possibly fit in all that there is to enjoy in a few night stay and that was fine because the serenity and peace of this place is worth quietly soaking in. I would love to come back!
Beautiful, quiet, and chic, this beach house went beyond our expectations. Our family had plenty of room to relax inside or out, enjoying morning views of wildlife and even a peek of Mt Ranier. The host was friendly and responsive and my kids keep asking when can we go back to the beach house. Location was also great and only 15-20 min from everything! Wonderful stay! Would definitely book again.
Don't miss this cute and cozy beach house on the bay! It is a worth the long haul down to the house. (there is a tram coming that will make the stairs nearly a non issue) it is super clean and well equipped in every way. The beds and other furnishings are super comfy. It was hard to get out of those beds in morning. We are seasoned travelers and this is near the top of our list! Will gladly stay again!
