Stayed Oct 18, 20233 bedroom up, 1 bathroom in master? bedroom. Inconvenient for others using bathroom downstairs. TV in mainroom, 4 remotes. No explanation of how to use or what primary tv service we were supposed to use. I was able to do chromecast and use my service. How many others would have been able to use similar? Liked, first rate appliances, roomy, good rate.

Stayed Jan 30, 2026A great stay at a very comfortable place. Lots of character from the wood floors to the classic and very creative upstairs bathrooms. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Easy walk to all meals of the day. Will be back.

Stayed Nov 2, 2025From the moment we walked in the door, we could see this was going to be the perfect getaway for our group of 4 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with quality equipment and supplies and the appliances were topnotch. We are game/card players and the dining room was perfect for us! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The upstairs bathroom is a little wonky but it worked fine for us. The home is in an excellent location, especially since we can walk downtown and not have to worry about finding a parking spot and paying for parking. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every single day we were there. We will definitley come back!

Stayed Jul 8, 2025First, the bad (which was not so bad)....as others have mentioned in reviews the upstairs bath is only a bathtub with shower handle and the sink is difficult to use as it is placed up against a sloped wall (which could be easily fixed with cabinet sink). That and the fact that the people in the other 2 bedrooms upstairs had to go downstairs to use a bathroom makes it not the best place for an older person getting up several times a night. And yes, the stairs are a bit creaky. That all said, everything else was great. The place is much nicer inside than the pics show it. The kitchen/dining/living area is great. There is a kiler porch off the front upstairs bedroom which is great to sit on and have your coffee and watch the wind on the river. The outdoor patio could handle a group of 10 for drinks & apps. The BBQ worked great. And the location can't be beat. it is right on the edge of downtown which made me worried it would be loud, but it wasn't at all. You are within 2 blocks of Lake Tacos (great!), Mike's Ice Cream (better!), a weed store and a winery (depending on your vices) and 5 mins drive to Event Site for watersports

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house was great and our kids had fun! We appreciated the children’s books (in the upstairs bunk bed room inside the bench), shower in downstairs bathroom, cozy beds, and big kitchen. The view of the river from the upstairs porch was pretty, although the porch was fairly dirty. Vacasa was responsive and even offered to have it cleaned. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Stayed Oct 18, 2024This property was perfect for our party. We walked downtown for meals and the race. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of four but will accommodate more. The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024It was our first time in Hood River and the town is so quaint! The house was located within walking distance to everything but also felt private. It’s a gorgeous craftsman that has been remodeled with contemporary amenities without losing its charm. The kitchen was giant and we enjoyed cooking all our meals there. The living room is so comfortable and cozy and perfect for game night or movie night. We had 5 adults and the sleeping was ideal. All 3 bedrooms were gorgeous and comfortable. And we enjoyed drinking our coffee in the morning on the porch overlooking the town and the Columbia. We will absolutely be back!

Stayed Jun 18, 2024This charming restored home right in the mix of Hood River was the perfect home base for our 2-day adventure. We walked just 4 minutes to Double Mountain Brewery for amazing pizza and a great beer selection. We walked a few short blocks to Doppio Coffee (ask for a bee sting!) and Bette’s (giant cinnamon buns) and Mike’s Ice Cream. A longer walk or a super quick drive to the River Park to watch the wind surfers. This house was a great place to park the car and get out into the Hood River community. We loved the classic charm with beautiful modern updates. Our group of 6 was more than comfortable in the 3 bedrooms, and easily shared the one shower in the downstairs bath. The kitchen has great counter space and we found all the cookware and tableware we needed. The washer/dryer was a huge bonus!! We’d definitely stay here again.
