Relaxing Bayfront Home with Ocean Views and Easy Beach Access

would have been nice to have PROPANE for the grill. Also urn was left by the window. The carpet was pretty dirty other than that nice property and location

The inside of the house was completely soiled by pet pee. Sent pictures to Vacasa of the half dozen largest spots. Shared with the “area manager” the pictures and the best they had to respond with was “Im sorry” and “the property is slated for remodel and will be unavailable for two months”. I had to personally clean the carpets prior to my parents arriving with a steam cleaner. It was a slap in the face to have clean my own rental with my own time and materials and then turn around and pay a “cleaning fee”. Additionally, cabinet doors were missing. Entire cabinets were missing. I have stayed at this house multiple times, this was by far the worst. Do better Vacasa, if your renters must clean their own rental and there is pictures to back up the claims, you need to do better then just provide an apology.

Very peaceful. Carpets could use a deep clean. The fireplaces were wonderful, don’t forget to bring wood. Beautiful views. Lots of space. Love the beaches too.

This home has a fabulous location. It should be wonderful once fully renovated but it was not described as being under renovation when we booked it. We arrived to discover the HVAC was not operable and we needed to use space heaters. Breaker had tripped in the room with the WiFi router and it took us a while to troubleshoot that. Lack of thermostat controlled central heat was not comfortable. Bathrooms were cold. Flooring is being replaced. Kitchen had new flooring. Living and dining area had bare subflooring. Carpet in bedrooms and stairs/hallways is extremely dirty, yet to be replaced. Baseboards not yet installed, some cabinets lack fronts. Pots and pans were nice stainless steel, not as described in a prior review, have been upgraded. It was ok, we love Oceanside, but we didnt expect to stay in a rental that was in the midst of renovation. The pictures to not reflect what the living areas look like now. Host did offer to bring more space heaters.

We had a wonderful time at this house in Oceanside. House layout was perfect for our two family vacation. This location can’t be beat, walkable to amazing beach location. View was perfect. Con- WiFi and internet are not good. TV remote was missing. Bring DVDs if you want something to watch. Would go again and be better prepared. Great property for us.

Easy walk to the beach. Nice view from the kitchen. Would recommend bringing your own pots and pans or lots of oil because the ones available are pretty scratched up and everything sticks.

location, views make this house fantastic. however, lots of improvements could be made with actual livability. beds need to be replaced, master bed frame broken. dishes to cook with are limited, example of no available frying pan that does not have flaked coatings. dishwasher was broken. heat barely worked, it was 'on' for over a day to move from 63 deg to 70. would have been nice to have a small hatchet to build fire as it was quite cold.

I will reiterate a lot of the other reviews because it is clear the owners don't address or fix any of the issues communicated with them. I got a text when I first arrived asking if I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the home which I responded that I was not at all satisfied and the response to that was Great, Hope you enjoy your stay The carpets upstairs are covered in pee stains from animals and we had to get carpet cleaner and clean the whole upstairs just to feel somewhat comfortable spending time up there. Despite multiple reviews noting damaged items the DVD player, dryer, and shower door are all still broken. The shower door will fall off and I am surprised that no one has been hurt by it yet. On the positive side, the location is amazing and the views are great. It does seem like they have added some kitchen supplies so we were able to prepare meals just fine. I would search long and hard for an alternative before booking this home.

We love this property and Oceanside! It's a spacious home with a wonderful open plan kitchen/living/dining and very cool loft space my kids love. We've been to this property a couple of times and this time found a few things that did not work. Specifically, the dishwasher had standing water in it when we arrived, so we chose to hand wash dishes as we feared it may overflow. The DVD player did not work. Finally, new deck boards were down on both decks, but they were not attached. This didn't really bug us but could be a safety issue for some (thinking about little kids). We truly love this property and will likely be back, it would be great if the dishwasher and DVD player were working then (oh, and the bed in the en suite is very, very noisy - my husband wedged some Uno cards we found between the frames that helped but said a couple screws were missing.)

I have stayed here several times. If you are okay with the occasional broken item or well-worn atmosphere, you’ll be very happy. It’s so close to the beach and the view is wonderful. If you require 4-5 star hotel amenities then you’ll be disappointed. Perfect for low maintenance people.
