Relaxed waterfront living

We were a group of 8 adults & 8 children, the house was lovely & relaxing, with plenty of space for everyone, in a great location. The movie room was a hit with the kids. A little bit chilly for the swimming pool this time of the year. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process & checkin & out a breeze. Would definitely recommend :-)

Great location of this house. Could walk to everywhere very easy. Great coffee shop just down the road.

Great 7 bedroom property, ideal for our family gathering. 7 large bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, 2 large living spaces so were not on top of each other. 15 minutes to walk into Broadbeach, with all the shops, restaurants and beautiful beach. Road wasn’t busy and we were able to park 4 cars on the drive and 2 on the road out front. View from the patio across the pool was impressive especially for all my English relatives. However the property needs some TLC: - not enough cutlery for us all to eat together - needs new pots and pans rather than the old worn out ones with dodgy handles - sink in the kitchen leaks and so we had to have a pot under it and empty it twice a day - noisy extractor fan above the BBQ which on the last night we could not work out how to switch off. My parents had to move rooms with the noise - not all lights in the family bathroom work - temperamental tumble dryer - balcony doors need some work to make them open smoothly We had a fantastic time but with the price paid we would have expected a maintained product, plus it’s not my job to ring a list of issues through to the owner .... the owner needs a higher level of attention to detail, as these issues have been reported through previous reviews.

Very disappointed in the condition of the property. The bbq wasn’t fully functional, most of the jets didn’t work, the jetty is rotting away, we were told we could fish of the jetty, my advise to anyone who’s staying not to use the jetty as my brother in law nearly went through it and injured himself. The door to the jetty opens the wrong way, dangerous when your entering the property as you have to stand back to open door, didn’t use the spa as it was very outdated and not maintained, the tradesman walked through to repair it without advising us, he accessed the property from next door when he should’ve knocked our front door, we felt our privacy was invaded, we paid a lot of money for our privacy, it should’ve been repaired prior to our arrival or we should’ve been given notice that a tradesman was going to attend on the day. The lights in the walk in robe in the master bedroom not working, back door faulty, had difficulty locking it hence handle snapped off. Property not very clean as swimming pool. Was woken up early every morning due to tradesman building next door. No did not have a good experience

We walked into the property and were in awe! It was what we were hoping it would be. It didn't take long however for our opinions to be turned upside down as the issues and problems begun to unfold. *ALL cutlery had to be washed, most were dirty with food still on them, the same for about half the crockery. *the floors were quite dirty and needed to be swept in some places *when you put your hand down between couch cushions we pulled out old stale food *under ALL couches and beds was a lot of dust and foreign objects like pens and food *spa water was dirty and stagnant and had not been cleaned in who knows how long *no TV in spa as per pictures *BBQ bin was left 3/4 full, objects in bin were moving due to so many maggots which smelt horrible *wheelie bins out front were almost full and smelt as though dead animal was in there and masked the front of the house rancid. objects also moving due to maggots. *downstairs toilet would continuously run *mattresses were all stained *shower in jack and jill bathroom was temperamental with temperature and we got about 2 hot showers out of it all week *spa bath tub leaked alot of water also had to get handyman to fix tap *mould under kitchen drainer *no shelving in garage fridge and fridge didn't get very cold *railing on back balcony on top level was not very secure *shelving in garage not secured to wall *underneath sink in jack and jill bathroom was filthy with built up scum & door didn't lock *one couch cushion had a rather large questionable white stain on it *stairwell banister was missing plugs on railing *water feature at top of stairs was mouldy and extremely dusty *dust on every single skirting board in the house *fan in downstairs bathroom had dust falling from it *large popped inflatable pool toy left on grassed area which we found upon arrival *cigarette butts left all over grass area *a/c vents dusty *arrived to full washing machine, unable to open door, no correspondence before arrival re this issue *all windows were dirty *behind BBQ was beyond disgusting. looked like it had not been cleaned in years *BBQ was quite dirty and unusable *dining plates do not fit in dishwasher so hand washing was required still for each meal *should a pool man have checked in on the pool water etc?? as this didn't happen *pool and spa filters were filthy *cinema couch was horrible, cracking and disgusting old leather *carpets felt gritty and gross I have photos of majority of these issues,

This house is stunning and perfect for families. Though we had a lot of small issues which was frustrating. No non stick pans couldn’t cook properly Foxtel didn’t work most days Bath tub in main bedroom we had to get someone to fix the tap as wouldn’t turn on Hot plate on stove didn’t work Remote control batteries some didn’t work Had to get someone out to fix the spa as it wouldn’t turn on Dishwasher didn’t work properly over Side table in the front room is dangerous Upstairs back bathroom the shower head was terrible to use zero pressure. If all those things weren’t an issue then the stay would of been perfect. Future guests would appreciate the minor improvements
