The views are amazing and the perfect place to have your morning coffee over looking the mountains. The location is perfect for all of your local activities and ski resorts. We enjoyed all of the board games that the cabin is stocked with for family fun.

The stay was great! Everything was as described and was in great condition! The upstairs place space was great for our son.

We were on a trip to tour colleges within 1.5 hours of this VRBO so we wanted a home base vs. changing hotels. The views from here are beautiful, even though we were well past fall colors. The mountains/clouds/sunsets were incredible. The host is very responsive, answered all of my questions prebooking with a lot of patience (and I had a lot never having been to the area, including about parking, stairs, etc.), and also the ones I sent while we were there asking about things happening locally, which I really appreciated. Follow what she sends for directions or you will end up in the wrong place (lessons learned with google not far away, just oops). Kitchen was well stocked, the upstairs had the arcade game which was fun. It was too cold/windy to be out on either deck to hang out, but had it been warmer, that would have been a great space to relax. Our son is over 6'2, so he hit his head on spiral staircase a few times, but fine if he ducked. Super close to Beech Mountain resort and restaurants. Fred's is really expensive (over 5 for a bag of shredded cheese), so grab groceries on your way in from one of the other stores. Easy access to the other mountains in the area for more hiking/biking/touristy things. Emerald Outback Trails is just up the mountain and is beautiful for views, and my son enjoyed the mountain bike trails there, even in the 50 MPH wind that day. We would definitely stay here again if we staying in the area. Thanks for having us!

First thoughts were, when we walked in it smelled great! Not musty or stale. That was lovely. Everything about our stay was perfect. The linens were high quality and there was plenty of them. The kitchen was fully stocked with well maintained supplies. Cooking for my family of 7 was no problem. The views were gorgeous. And we loved all the deer we saw constantly. The only thing I would say was a negative was the spiral stairs and that's only because our dogs couldn't walk up them so we had to go outside and walk around to the upper door. My kids however, LOVED them.

What a charming and cozy house! The antique furniture was beautiful and yet the house was very kid friendly with books, toys, and games. We have a 7 yo, 4 yo, and 10 month old who is crawling and pulling up/cruising on furniture. We had to block the stairs with a chair when we let her crawl around, but we never felt like she was unsafe. The two tv/sitting areas were really cozy and great places to hang out. The game room and selection of board games was great. We played Clue almost every night. The kitchen is well stocked with really nice cookware and appliances. Tons of hooks (to hang clothes, jackets, and towels) and places for shoes. So many little details that made for a really comfortable stay. And the view was incredible. Huge windows to enjoy it from inside and two porches to enjoy from the outside. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The small touches made it feel extra homey! The kitchen had most everything you’d need to cook/bake, and the beds were clean and comfortable! Great view and location!

What a beautiful location with an amazing view! Kristy was super responsive and a great host! Plenty of room to spread out do your own thing like read on the top deck, play games upstairs, cook and enjoy a meal under the covered deck no matter the weather! I highly recommend staying in this tree top oasis.

House was nice, short drive to slope, overall a good stay, beautiful views. The soap provided had some sort of bugs in it and the dishwasher was full when we arrived, other than that it was great.

Short but sweet trip with our kids and their friends. Location was perfect! Loved the two seperate living room areas- parents on one floor and teens on the other! Fireplace was perfect after being in the cold all day! Would definitely return!

Perfect spot for two adult couples to stay for the wedding of a son of a friend. Well equipped kitchen and close to everything.
