Sevierville, Tennessee
Located near the heart of the Arts & Crafts Trail, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park this cabin is a great place to relax and enjoy all that the Smoky Mountains have to offer. Enjoy 100' of river frontage along the Little Pigeon River. Sit at either the river front deck or on the rocking chair porch and listen to the river sing. The 3 bedroom cabin offers a large wood burning fireplace, a game room, a fire pit with seating, flat screen tvs, and a full kitchen.
River access is just across a country road.
The sheets were not clean in the king bed and had to be washed immediately. We found small pieces of marijuana on the counter, bar stools, and all over the floor. My children found 3 small blue pills on the living area rug which were oxycodone tabs (google). The owner responded after check out and only offered a simple explanation of “the cabin is cleaned between each guest”. Pictures were requested and provided so she could send them to the cleaning service. The cabin is in a great location and the river across the street is beautiful. Just wish for the price, we would have received a more concerned owner rather than the cleaning service is “reputable”. Please beware with children!
Cozy quite family cottage
Property was overall nice, stairs to get upstairs are a little hard for little kids to get up and down. The river is what makes the property very nice spot on the river and very quiet.
We loved it! Would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for a family or group. Nice cabin located on the Little Pigeon River with private access. Just a few minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Jason and Kaitlin were very responsive and helpful.
First off we would stay here again if we wanted to visit the area! It's under 30 mins to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Host was very responsive via messaging always on top of things. She was very understanding with our concerns and comments. When you get to the property there is an abandoned house next door, so really no neighbors that are noticeable ! The street it's on is 45mph you need to cross to get to the river. Grass could of used a cut and full of white Dutch clovers i believe, so many bees in the grass. First thing we noticed was the kitchen stove top didn't look cleaned and the top of the fridge was not cleaned who knows how long. There was also a full bathroom garbage bag left in the cabinet under the sink. Cob webs through out, kitchen light, the Queen bedroom's upstairs where we stayed, ceiling fans were not dusted for awhile. The bedroom doors upstairs where damaged but still useable, one of the door knobs was almost falling off (we screwed it back in) and a tile at the bottom of the stairs was broken and pieces left laying there. The space was perfect for our 7 adults and 4 kids. Wi-Fi works about 50% of the time, I believe it's satellite so that explains why considering it's in the mountains! We made the host aware of everything we noticed and hope they find a better housekeeping company cause that could really hurt their business! Everything worked as expected, AC was great and kept the whole place comfortable, it has a beautiful fireplace that we didn't use cause it's summer LOL. We didn't see enough towels for 11 guest and enough TP. It does have a washer and dryer to use. The upstairs is a narrow staircase. A great place to sit outside on the porch and listen to the river! Overall a relaxing place, game room kept adults and kids entertained, common area was enough space for everyone. The price was perfect and the host was great with communication!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this cabin. It is nicely furnished, easy to get to, and well situated close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Kaitlyn was very easy to work with and extremely responsive. The queen bed and bunk rooms are both located upstairs (beware that the stairs are narrow and steep). Otherwise, the cabin is spacious, and the sun room with mini pool/ping pong table is a nice touch. While the property does not have a mountain view, it has a great hidden gem. It includes a walkway down to the river as well as a cozy covered porch to fish or just sit and listen to the river. There is also a nice basin where kids can swim without worrying about the river currents. We would definitely put it on our list for a return visit to the area.
