Stayed Nov 1, 2025Barbecue was so dirty we couldn’t use it. Had to rewash some crockery and cutlery before using as that was also dirty. Had an invasion of cockroaches and ants. When paying a big cleaning fee you would expect things to be in a pretty good condition.

Stayed Dec 28, 2024We really loved the location as it is on the water with the boat ramp across the road so easy to have the boat moored out the front of the house for our entire stay, there is a great cafe within walking distance and beach area to swim at. The house was great we had 2 families with 4 kids in total and the space of the house was great. Lots of board games and books to use. The bedrooms are huge. The beds are queen size but would have been better if they were King as there is plenty of space for that. Kitchen was fully equipped to cook in and everything easy to use including the bbq outside. There is not much privacy with the neighbours next door when sitting outside but that is just the location, they were nice enough so it did not affect our stay. Would come back to this property for another holiday.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024House was in a great position right in the canal with fantastic views. Lots of room for our family of 8 adults. Great first impressions with lots of room for us all. Unfortunately there were a few issues that arose over our stay including stained/dirty bed linen, a few broken appliances/ bbq switch, not enough towels supplied initially but we were delivered new clean bed sheets and towels once agency were notified.Overall we had a lovely 3 nights at this property.

The location of the house is fantastic, right on the water with it's own private jetty which is perfect for fishing and kayaking. It is only a 5 minute drive from the beaches, restaurants and shops and only 2 minutes to Settlement Point. The property was exactly as advertised and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We're looking forward to staying again in the future.

Reviewer Comments: We had a short stay of 3 nights to attend a wedding in Port Macquarie. The house (Reflections) ticked all the boxes to base my family - mostly from Sydney and Hunter regions. It was comfortable, well appointed, pleasant and conveniently located close to the wedding venue. We look forward to staying there again on our next visits.
