Redwing House In Old Town

Everything was as described. Has everything you need. Salle (host) is very responsive and helpful during the stay. But the location can’t be beat. You can walk to anything on Elk street and you are a half block from the nearest bus stop (they have great shuttle system in Crested Butte). Those details may not seem like much, but with parking at premium in downtown, your private off street parking spot, along with the ability to walk everywhere you need to go, is a pretty big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

Had to buy toilet paper. Dog food kibbles on the floor. Otherwise ok. No outside bin for recycling.

We stayed during the wildflower festival to hike with our pups and check out the town. Salle is a wonderful hostess who made us all feel like family. The property is cute and clean and the location is perfect. We loved being able to vacation with our pups and enjoyed the comforts and location of the property very much. Highly recommended.

Historic home with all the necessary modern conveniences. We did not bring our dog, but I was pleasantly surprised that no sign of previous four-legged guests was evident. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, off street parking, and responsive and accommodating host. Thanks for a great stay Salle!

We came to cross country ski and spend time with friends. The house is in a great location; we enjoyed skiing and relaxing in the house. We enjoyed being able to walk to coffee and dinner. The host was responsive and the place was nice!

Salle’s place was just perfect for myself, husband and our dog. Fantastic location easily walkable to restaurants, walking path, coffee shop and more! Place was a perfect size, great reading selection and Salle was super responsive! Crested Butte was a last minute stop and we will be back! Highly recommend!

We visited Crested Butte for a wedding and needed a place to stay with our children. Salle's house had everything we needed to accommodate our children and was just a short few blocks away from Elk Ave for dining and shopping. My kids loved the swing on the porch and have already asked when we can go back to Colorado and stay there again!

Nice little place in the middle of town. It was convenient for everything. We had all the amenities we needed. The house was not the fanciest but it suited us for our road trip with two young kids and a yellow lab puppy.

Oh man was this house and city and whole stay amazing! We will be back. House was well stocked and the location was perfect. Just two blocks from the Main Street with coffee shops and restaurants. Also about one block from a large park. Thank you Salle for being a great host.

This is a really nice place to stay. It is clean and quiet, it has a lot of character, and enough space for a family of four (two bedrooms, so one for aid and then the two kids shared a bed and bedroom). The house is an old mining cabin, and the furnishings and fittings give it a very authentic “Crested Butte” vibe. The host was clear, communicative, and provided all of the directions and support we needed. The location is perfect for walking to playgrounds, or to shops and restaurants on Elk Street, or biking from the front door out to the trails. Our family typically stays in crested Butte for a week or so at least once every summer, and we will be looking to see if this place is available on our future trips.
