Stayed Jun 20, 2025This was a pretty nice house, not exactly ‘ newly’ renovated but still ok. Furniture in the living area needs replaced badly but the beds we’re comfortable and you are really paying for the lake access. AC worked hard but it was an exceptionally hot week. View is great. The water in the house does have an odor and directions to place the bedding would be nice also directions on how to work the shower in the bathroom with the bathtub. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Stayed May 11, 2025This was advertised as sleeping 9. It does not. It is a lake cottage of modest size. Even with five adults you would be bumping elbows. No dressers in any bedroom, but there are closets. No laundry machines. Two 12” pantry shelves to fit your kitchen supplies or food. All other cabinets stuffed with mismatched cookware, plates & drinkware. Deck was nice but all furniture well covered in bird droppings that were not recent. I spent first morning of vacation going to Walmart 25 mins away to buy a bucket & scrub brush to clean deck furniture. Owner responded with a skeptical “sorry” 4 days later.Food crumbs & popcorn in creases of couches. Floors dirty. Not what you expect given steep cleaning fee.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Was a great time, was not sure which house it was , neighbors helped us. Everything in the house was great and worked out very well for us. Just was not sure what all we should do upon departing with bedding and towels and things like that.
