This house was really nice, especially because it had three bedrooms with a king-sized bed, firmer than we're used to, a rarity for rentals. The grandkids loved sleeping in the loft and the room with a full-sized bed and twin trundle twin would have also been a good child room. The dining table was much bigger than what the pictures seemed to show, with a bench seating 3-4 as well as 5 more seats, and a tall table seating three. It does make the kitchen a little tight, but it was doable. The kitchen was very well stocked, though it could have used a bigger frying pan and a glass measuring cup for heating milk for the grandkids' chocolate milk, but other than that, it had everything we needed. They even had spices and baking items that I've never seen in a house, and garbage bags and detergent for the dishwasher and laundry were generously supplied, not the 1-bag limit and you'd better bring your own. The bathrooms were nicely updated and overall, the house couldn't have been more perfect. What I've noticed with a lot of Beech Mtn homes is there isn't a place for a firepit and seating, but there was nice seating on the decks, had it not been blisteringly cold over Thanksgiving. Ryan was very quick to answer and accommodating, so that was nice. We had a very happy stay there.

It’s overall a nice place. 3 stories with the kitchen on the second story. Not ideal for people who have difficulty with stairs but if that’s not you no problem. Two really nice decks. The location is on a switch back turn which is fine but confused google maps. There are deer walking all over the place and they get pretty close to you. They aren’t scared of people. We must have saw 4 different bucks, lots of doe and fawns. They pretty much live in the neighborhood. However, stripped the sheets in the master bed and had stains in the bedding. Eww!The cookware is horrible. The frying pans are old, warped, and lacking most of the Teflon. Should be thrown out and replaced. Made it extremely difficult to cook and clean. The kitchen water doesn’t really get too hot and the cold and hot valves are flipped. FYI.

The whole family enjoyed our 4th of July visit to Beech Mountain at the Red Ridge Retreat. Plenty of room to spread out for 6 people and very dog friendly (there are dog treats and food/water dishes)! We enjoyed a lot of time on the decks as well as cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. We'd definitely return!

We had the absolute best time here! There was plenty of room, the kitchen had everything we needed and we so appreciated the paper towels, dishwasher pods etc! The house was super clean and the beds were really comfortable. It’s on our list of favorite places!

We had a great time at this house with all amenities needed. We arrived the night before, followed by one day skiing, then left the following day. House was very comfortable once we got the heat flowing. We had cold conditions but each room has heat control which took very little time to warm up. Multiple bathrooms were a blessing with teenagers. We cooked meals and appliances were in working order. Dryer was convenient for our wet clothes. Overall great stay, highly recommended. We'll be back next year.
