Ranch-Style Florida Retreat w/ Pool & Lanai

House was great for what we needed for are family over the holidays

Overall, comfort's of a second home, with good communication with owner.

We overall quite enjoyed our stay here, but we did have some issues. The house was absolutely gorgeous, and the location wonderful. We loved the dock and pond access, and the neighborhood was beautiful and the neighbors friendly (I was training for a race so I spent a lot of time running in the area). The house was nicely appointed, although the complimentary toiletries were not supplied. Also, it mentions step-free access, which is true, but there were small room dividers everywhere on the floor that make access for someone with difficulties walking complicated. There was a lot of space, which was wonderful as we had people from different families staying with us, but all the beds were uncomfortable, and the one in the second room with an ensuite was very hard. A foam mattress topper was provided, but did not entirely fix the issue for us. The pool was lovely, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the sound of the waterfall and the beautiful weather on the nice patio furniture. And it was SO pretty at night! The pool is unheated, as noted in the listing, and in October was too cold to actually swim in, unfortunately. On our last night, we got a text from the property manager with a list of things to clean/do. I don't mind cleaning up after myself (taking out trash, washing the dishes used), but for the price charged doing laundry or wiping down furniture is a bit much, and it was stressful to get that text when things were already busy.

Our family of 7 stayed here for a week in July while attending our son's baseball tournament. I could not have asked for a more wonderful stay! The communication with the owner was great. She was responsive when needed and sent us a reminder and a link for the launch that could be viewed from the front yard! The pool was beautifully clean and refreshing. The house is well-maintained and meticulously cared for. The photos don't do the home justice. We will definitely be planning to stay here again.

Beautiful house and pool helped make our vacation a success and gave us ideas for our own Florida house hunting. Had a wonderful week living the Florida life in this great home.

Joey, the property owner, was very responsive and quick to respond to any questions asked and places to visit along with a black binder that gave restaurants activities around the area and detail to whats around the property which was amazing. I would say for us, the downfalls would be limited cooking supplies for what we usually prepare for our meals, such as large bowls, pizza cutter, small bowls and extra dish clothes and bath towels. The pool wasn't heated which was a downfall for us but also it wasn't advertised as being heated so we knew this. But overall, if you plan on eating out mostly and don't care about cooking at the place too much, this is a quiet and nice place with “Joey” being a sweet property owner and super helpful. Thanks for the stay and great memories made!!!

Stayed here for a quick family getaway. The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our extended family to spread out. The pool area was nice (heated pool would have been even better) and the neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Easy driving distance to Disney for the kids and plenty to do in the immediate area. Overall great stay!

Beautiful house and neighborhood. Josephine was a great host and provided us with ideas of things to do. The kids loved watching the space launch.

With four bedrooms and two different living areas in addition to the outside lanai there was plenty of space for us to spread out as a family of 5 adults. If you stay don’t forget to walk down the path next-door to the house to see the gazebo and the lake. We saw large turtles! Convenient to Melbourne and Merritt and Cocoa, with only an hour to the Orlando airport, this was perfect for us over a busy holiday vacation. We were even able to see the SpaceX launch from the driveway and the pool!
