Great space! Very clean and great host! Would stay again.

Great view, kayaks were nice for exploring the lake, had everything we needed, fire pit was awesome for evening fire. All around great experience.

The house was great, roomy and felt comfortable. The lake views were amazing. The house was clean and easy communication with the hosts. We had a great time staying and would stay again!

This was our second time staying here. Perfect place with family. Quiet and peaceful. Close to state park .Shallow water perfect kids. A house that feels like home for the week!

We fully enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely and spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked. We had fun with the games in the basement rec room. We enjoyed the kayaks and the floaties that were provided. We would have liked more shade on the dock. The area is lovely and we were close to shopping. It was easy to get around. My only suggestion would be to put blinds on the first floor bedroom windows. We loved the sunshine but not so much at 5:30 amThank you for providing a lovely house for a wonderful vacation.

We had a great time at Ramsey’s Retreat! We spent lots of time on the back porch, since the weather turned stormy during our stay. We were grateful for the access to the kayaks and paddles. Everyone slept well in the well-appointed bedrooms and always had plenty of hot water for showers. Overall, we were very comfortable and it was easy to feel at home while away from home!

We rented Ramsey’s Retreat so our family would have a spacious, relaxing place to stay while we attended my daughter’s graduation from Liberty University. It was absolutely perfect. The pictures online do not do this place justice. It is breathtakingly beautiful! It was less than an hour away from Liberty University but only 15 or so minutes from a grocery store and great places to eat…looking at you Jake’s Place…best smashburger ever!! The check in process was very smooth and the owners were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. 10 out of 10!! Would recommend to anyone!

We met our military daughter halfway from base. It was her 21st birthday and she will be deploying shortly so she wanted a quiet weekend getaway with water activities and bonfire. This house had everything we wanted. It was perfect for our stay. The only complaint we had was there wasn't any fish the owners are absolutely wonderful!!!

When we arrived at Ramsey's Retreat and walked in the door, our eyes were drawn to the wall of windows overlooking the beauty of the lake. We had about a day or so of rain, but were able to enjoy the activities in the basement (darts, mini golf pad and ping pong). We also appreciated the quiet cove for kayaking. We were grateful the house was equipped with towels/linens and household items. The surroundings were tranquil and we enjoyed watching the deer, squirrels and birds. We are already looking forward to our next trip back!

This was a wonderful property. So much to do for the kids, and a relaxing place for adults. The beach and boats were a lot of fun. We also loved the back patio overlooking the lake.

A beautiful home nestled in a quiet cove. We had a very comfortable stay while enjoying the lake by day and the fire pit at night. The owners are always available if needed. We have rented two years in a row and plan on renting again for next Summer!

The lake access was unsurpassed. We loved the dock, the floating dock, the paddle boat and the two kayaks. We even got to use the firepit even though it was a hot weekend. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Love the different sections of the home so that different family groups had their own section and a little privacy. Thanks for a lovely visit.

The Ramsey retreat was a hidden gem that we were so blessed to stay at. We were attending a college graduation and found this sweet place. The owners are super helpful and thoughtful. The place is immaculate, homey, and so peaceful. The location was perfect for us. We will definitely be back. We can't wait! Thank you for sharing you special retreat with us.
