Rainbow Deluxe - 2 BR/2 BA Cottage - Simply Wonderful!

This is an awesome property and the hosts are amazing! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property for your stay on Maui. Conveniently located to access the entire island and great beaches. The house was the best stocked VRBO in which we have ever stayed. The entire house is air conditioned with a great system. Unusual for Hawaii. And the hosts were immediately available and responsive to our questions. If you are able to grab this property for your vacation, do so without hesitation. You won’t regret it!!!

One of our best VRBO stays! Our host Joe was great. The house was extremely well stocked with snacks, all fruit, drinks and a streudel! We’re VRBO hosts as well and I was taking notes on everything. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. Beautiful location with a view of the ocean.Highly recommend!

Our family loved staying in this beautiful authentic Hawaiian home. We loved the scent of the soap they provided, how comfortable the beds were and that our rooms got really cool for sleep. They also welcomed us with the most generous and amazing basket filled with practical and yummy treats for our stay. This beautiful place also has an ocean view, which we were surprised with. While Rainbow Deluxe is situated close to some of the most luxurious hotels in all of Hawaii, we will come back and stay here because we loved our stay and the entire experience.

I’m not sure I can accurately convey how wonderful this place was. From before we arrived communication with Joe and Mary Ann was fantastic. Coming into the unknown you trust pictures and communication. Upon arrival we felt we were in heaven. The house is tucked away in beautiful landscaping with great wildlife to entertain us. Location is incredible, far enough away to feel serene and close enough to get to everything touristy and local. My absolute favorite part of the cottage is the amenities. Great master bed with nice walking in closet. Incredible linens and lush towels. Personalized robes, I felt so pampered. The kitchen was great for when we wanted to stay in or bringing back leftover goodies from our adventures. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver and I’m convinced to change detergents when I get home because I liked the one they had here so well. And finally just the absolute detail to our comfort provided made this such a personal experience for a magical time in our lives. We couldn’t be more grateful. This home was beautiful and exceptionally clean! So many cute lizards on the property! The owners even had some water and snacks to get our vacation started. Small but great view of the ocean and sunset.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The host was incredibly generous and left some snacks for our family, which was a lovely surprise that we truly appreciated. The house was the cleanest we've ever stayed in and was very quiet. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in the beautiful view of the ocean. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed, from beach gear to kitchenware and supplies. It truly felt like our home away from home.

Great communication. Beautiful place. Perfect for 3 adults. My only complaint is noisiness of the main bed. Birds were our wake up call each morning around 5 am. Lots of geckos were cool. Very well stocked placed with many extras. Would highly recommend this place. Way better than a hotel room.

Many nice amenities found here not in other places on Maui we have rented. Excellent AC and internet service. Computer in the cottage you can use. The fridge had a giant basket full of bars, fruit, cheese and other items. Also had OJ and milk and some other things. Communication with the owners was easy and fast. Actually, can't say enough good things. A very nice experience for us all.
