I liked that they had bikes and kayaks for the guests.
Everything was clean and in working order. Spend the weekend here with my family. Very close to the beach. We borrowed a canopy from the rv park. They also have chairs and bikes.
We did not have a grill and never received one after reporting it. Firepit was not even usable. Had a hole in the bottom. Shower leaked! Place was clean! Park, bikes and kayaks were a plus.
They overbooked the trailer I paid for and had to give me another one to stay in - the park hostess was great and made sure that we had a nice one to stay in. Now a week later they are saying we took the remotes for the tv's there. What use would I have for something that belongs to that tv, was not happy with the owner, and he didn't really care when talked to. Why would it take a week to clean the camper, if the remotes were missing when I left they should have said something to me on Tuesday. Be careful if you stay there.
We enjoyed our stay, place was clean, had everything we needed. Property manager David is great responds right away.
The owner of the RV park was not very friendly. But the host was nice. There are a few things that need fixing on the camper. I feel like everything should work properly when you’re paying that much for a weekend. But we managed and still had a great trip with friends and family.
Check in was easy. Camp hosts are very helpful, as was David. Camper was clean and nice. The kids loved the pirate ship and free kayaks and bicycles. The camper we had had just been moved in, and David worked late into the night to make sure everything was completed. Will definitely stay again.
will i fell like we should get some of our money back never could get sewer small out so we had to leave about 5 hours to air out so we might can stand the smell and they had no electricity for the monday and they new it was going to be off should have let people know before booking
Great manager and good communication. Check-in was 1.5 hours late due to a cleaning delay but David offered us some firewood. We did our grocery shopping chore. The location is convenient, peaceful and had a great sunset view. We had nice fires in the pit and grilled one night. It’s a small RV park with water on each side, we enjoyed seeing many birds and some fish jumping. There was plenty of grassy area to walk our dogs. You are parked at an angle and it’s fairly typically close to each other. Luckily the slot next us was vacant. There are a few canal facing Slots here that we will opt for next time. The actual camper we rented was much larger than we needed and I was not impressed. The screens are not mosquito proof (and the RV got invaded by them), kit faucet leaks, tub faucet needs a new regulator and the AC wasn’t cold enough. Going in April is cool at night so AC not an issue esp if you can open windows (hence it needs tighter fitting screens). The wear was apparent. The bed was comfortable though, plenty of towels, coffee maker worked and, we only stayed 2 nights. Had it been longer I would have requested to move. So 4 stars for location and 5 stars for host but I’d give this RV and spot a 3. I recommend Hailey’s but not the RV in slot 12.
We highly recommend this camper trailer! It was just as pictured, very clean, and very comfortable. Location on the island was great!
When we arrived to the RV a gentleman was there and said he needed to fix the bed because it was broken. We were absolutely fine with that. Once we entered the RV we were overtaken with fragrance. It was so strong you could taste it. There were 3 glade plugins in the little space. We immediately took them out. Then we opened the refrigerator and quickly learned why there were so many air fresheners. The refrigerator had been turned off and smelled awful. In addition to the smell there was mold growing in the freezer. We decided we would just not use the refrigerator, not a huge deal. Then we turned on the TV and it immediately took us to Roku, but there was no Roku remote so we could not use the TV, again not a huge deal. Then things get a little more interesting on Saturday morning, while I was laying on the bed it broke again. We go and track down someone that works there and tell him. He says to leave the RV unlocked and he will be by to fix the bed. We go about our day and come back to the bed still being broken. My husband once again tracks someone down for help. He is told they are unable to fix the bed and do we really need it to which my husband replies yes, we booked the RV for 4 people and we need the bed. My husband then suggests putting cinderblocks under the bed to lift it to which the woman replies they can do. They finally did that, then I go to take a shower and the shower stops draining completely. Here I am mid shower yelling for my husband to get someone. I am standing in the shower with soap all over me, cold with no water running because the water is about to run over the side. My husband brings me a small cup (its all we had) and I start scooping water out of the shower into the toilet so I can at least turn the shower back on to rinse off. The maintenance man hooks up a hose tells my husband it should drain and then walks away. The water did not drain. I finally get out of the shower to the smell of sewage. Disgusting! My friend who was staying there goes and tracks someone down again and tells him the RV is starting to stink and that the shower did not drain. He tells her he will be right there and no one ever comes back to help us! The rest of my group were unable to take showers after being at the beach all day. When we left Sunday morning the water still had not drained out of the shower. It was the worst experience we have ever had on vacation. Please book with someone else and have a better vacation than we did!
