The small two level house is located on the Portofino peninsula, offering spectacular views to the bay of Santa Margarita. From your doorstep you walk into the regional parc of Portofino, a brilliant trail with rewarding finish. The house itself is about 150 meters down from the little access road where you can park the car, sometimes quite tight. Although the house is sufficiently equipped including a BBQ and deck chairs, there is no WiFi or dishwasher. However, the view from the different terraces makes you quickly forget this!

The views from both terraces are absolutely stunning. Very quiet location and all you need to spend a perfect vacation is there.

No problem with communication. The description is accurate. I would recommend this property to everybody who wants to spend an active holiday in Italy.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house surrounded by beautiful nature with possibilities for a hiking trip starting right from the front door. Fresh bread every morning within a 15 min walk down hill.

We could really relax. Most of all we enjoyed that we could start our hiking tours directly without need of the car.

We loved staying at this property because we were in the heart of beautiful countryside yet close to many coastal towns. It was easy to reach Genoa and the Cinque Tere by train from Santa Margharita. Porto Fino and a variety of lovely coastal towns were within easy reach. Santa Margharita was a great place to shop for food with a good range of bakeries, greengrocers, pasta shops, fish stalls and delicatessens making self catering easy. We ate out at the local restaurant in San Lorenzo which is well worth a visit. As we arrived very late in the evening, Stephane arranged some shopping for us which was kind. The property was clean and the views outstanding. We loved the local wildlife especially the frogs singing in the evenings, the fireflies and the wild boar and piglets we spotted one night close to home. It was a little walk from the parking to the house but we were expecting that and it kept us fit. My only criticism of the property is that it is a little basic and there are only two cooking rings on the hob. If you want a dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer or fancy kitchen equipment, it may not be for you. In you want authentic Italy, a beautiful garden with three terraces and outstanding views in the heart of the Italian Riviera, I can highly recommend this property. Many thanks Stephane.

Truly enjoyed the view. Be prepared to walk to get to the house and don't carry heavy pieces of luggage because of the same reason. The view made worth the walk. The only negative thing we had was not having enough toilet paper (that's a necessity) for the nights we stayed there.
