Duncan, Arizona
We renovated and reopened the historical Simpson Hotel (est. 1914) in Duncan, Arizona, a town of 800 on the Gila River in a quiet region of southeastern Arizona. The room is an old storefront attached to the hotel building, accessed through the hotel lobby. It is cozy but very private and comfortable. The kitchenette has a small fridge, toaster over, microwave, coffee maker and bar sink (no stovetop). Essential dishes are provided. In addition to the queen bed, there are a parson's table and two chairs in the room. The back door opens onto a small shade garden, through which you can access the many rambling gardens and sitting areas of the hotel property.
