We had a wonderful stay at in Steamboat! The home was well stocked and very comfortable. Tom was welcoming and very helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Tom, the host, was exceptional. He greeted us with a keg and made sure we had everything we needed. He even helped my husband shovel and get the fire pit going. Tom truly went above and beyond. We’ve stayed in many places, and this is by far the best experience we've had.The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and spices, which was a pleasant surprise. I also enjoyed being introduced to some local coffee, courtesy of Tom. My family, which includes my husband and two teenagers, had plenty of space. We appreciated having TVs in both bedrooms and the living room.The beds were extremely comfortable, and the heated floors in the master bathroom were a nice touch. The house was conveniently located near a park that we visited frequently with our Australian shepherd. Additionally, the town was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We could have taken the shuttle to the slopes, but we chose to drive directly to the mountain, which was not far from the house.We appreciated the binder filled with tips and suggestions for local activities and dining options. We plan to return and won’t hesitate to book with Tom again.

Home was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen had all the amenities one could possibly need.Spent quality time with family. Howyadoin pizza,Backyard grill and Winona’s were all excellent eating establishments. I especially appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the host.Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Tom was one of the best hosts I have ever worked with. He has all the little touches and even 2 beers on tap! He has fans for the hot days and blankets for dogs. There is even a half bath and huge dining table. I just have to say WOW! We cannot wait to come back. We also walked to DT easily in 8 minutes!

Wonderful location & amazing host! Tom went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable - even helping us out with a flat tire. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. We brought our dog and loved the proximity to the dog park. The house was well appointed with everything we needed and it was a quick 10 minute walk into downtown. We would highly recommend Spruce Nest!

We loved staying here. The house was cleaned, organized and the host had everything we needed.The host was available any time if we needed anything. We loved that the house was close to downtown and we could walk there. Also it was very convenient to had a dog park that was a few blocks away. We definitely will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here and wish we had longer! Plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 kids, and our dog. We were able to walk everywhere and barely used our car thanks to the perfect location in Old Town. This will definitely be our new Steamboat go-to when we come back.

We loved our stay at the Spruce Nest! Honestly, there are a million places to stay in Steamboat, but I dont think any of them score 5's like this one. You can walk to the bus for skiing, walk to downtown for dinner, relax in a quiet neighborhood, and Tom, the property manager was super communicative. Small side note, the beds are the most comfortable you'll ever stay in. I am literally going to buy the same sheets for my room!

What a wonderful place to nest with the family!!! This home is nestled in a small quiet community within walking distance of shops, church, restaurants, art galleries, bars and Howelsen Hill. The home is extremely clean with comfortable beds/pillows, heated bathroom floors, large round dining table and cozy den. Our family of five was extremely comfortable as we were in town for a ski trip. The snowboarders in the family were thrilled to have boot warmers on sight…and not a bad drive to Steamboat. Many of our meals were cooked in-house with a well equipped kitchen and free flowing beer through the two in-house taps provided by our host Tom. If we had any issues or questions, Tom, the host, was quick to respond and help. This is a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to relax or call home base for a while.

We came to Steamboat for family fun and relaxation and Tom’s property was a great home base for both. The home is on a quiet street, with a driveway that allows 2 SUV’s to park. One bedroom has an en-suite bath with shower and the upstairs bathroom is private with an adjacent full bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed cooking in.Thanks Tom, we had a great stay!

We stayed in Steamboat for 2 weeks with family to celebrate our 50th anniversary. This location is perfect for downtown events, restaurants & shopping. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and Tom is a great host. Hope to come back!

The property is lovely and in walking distance to the main street of Steamboat. Very comfortable and well cared for.

The house couldn’t have been better, all the necessities. It was in such a great area. We walked to all the places in town. Tom was a perfect host and easy to reach when needed. I highly recommend this VRBO.
