Located in old Mayfair: 3 bedroom home one block from Lake Monroe and a half a mile from downtown Sanford's Night life. 5 Miles from Orlando/Sanford Airport, 30 min to the beach and 45 minutes to the theme Parks. Built in 1956, terrazzo and hard wood floors are through out. We have Eagles, Hawks, Turkey and Sand hill cranes as frequent visitors. Large fenced back yard provides privacy. Ideal location yet in a quite neighborhood. The home is comfortable and welcoming.

Stayed Dec 28, 2025This was a very good place to stay. The house had a homey feel to it. It was stocked with everything we could have needed and the host was very generous with supplies like coffee and kitchen supplies for cooking. There was a generous supply of bath towels also. The fenced backyard was fabulous for our dog. It is within easy walking distance to the waterfront area and also to downtown. Sanford has some really wonderful restaurants. We would stay here again.

Stayed Sep 24, 2025Quiet house, couldn't hear outside noise, super comfortable bed , great for sleeping. The backyard was perfect for the dog.

Stayed Aug 27, 2025Lovely house on a quiet street just blocks from downtown Sanford. We were greeted by the cranes you see in the picture every morning as well as a pair of wild turkeys. Backyard was great for our dogs and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Stayed Jun 22, 2025The house was perfect for what we needed. We stayed for a week because we had a trial that was supposed to start but our case ended up getting rolled to later in the month and we decided to just work from the house for the week. It was spacious, cozy, clean, and had all the necessities for a week-long stay. Also, you can see the lake from the front door, it's about a 4-minute walk from the house.

Stayed Nov 24, 2024House was clean and comfortable even though it is an older home. We celebrated a 96th birthday and thanksgiving. Perfect place to take walks by the waterfront Backyard good for dogs, but the fence does have some open areas so you have to keep tabs on the animals.

Stayed Nov 6, 2024Had a great stay. The house is clean and in a quiet neighborhood close to Lake Monroe. Downtown Sanford is 2 minutes away and has a bunch of restaurants. Perfect for a family.
