* Both the City of South Lake Tahoe & The County of El Dorado have become extremely strict in enforcement of posted rules which can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities
* This home sits in a quiet (mostly residential) neighborhood and therefore extra consideration should be made to keep the noise down.
* This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products and 1 large towel and wash cloth per guest. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival. Laundry detergent is not provided.
* We have a strict no party policy, the registered guest will need to be 25+, excessive use of the property/ extra cleaning required/ failure to follow checkout procedures/ breach of rental agreement will result in steep additional charges.
Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. The cabin was a nice but just have a few things could improve on. Had a lot of essential things that we didn't need to bring which it nice. Although, the cabin could use a bit more touch up in cleaning as our children had found and picked stuff underneath the couch. Furniture and chairs looked stain. For the amount of cleaning fee we had to pay, thought it could be a bit better. But aside from that it was nicely made. Fridge wasnt as cold. Overall, we did enjoy our stay!
Everything was great, I enjoyed every minute of my vacation there.
Our stay overall was great and I would recommend this place. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything you need. It would have been nice if they would have shoveled snow off the deck so we could use the BBQ and made a path to the hot tub, but we understand this year had much more snow than most. It is a 2.5 bath not a 3 bath to be clear. Only other suggestion for future renters is they need kitchen towels (we had to use small bath hand towels) and some medium and larger size fry pans - the only one there is a small 6 pan. These are minor easy fixes.
Me and My Family went out to SLT for a getaway for my mothers 60th birthday. It was a beautiful location and home. Everything was beautiful and accommodating inside. There was tons of snow everywhere. Kids were able to play right out front of home in snow. The home kept us warm from cold which was perfect. The only thing, if I would say negative, was just the downstairs Livingroom couch that turns into a bed was quite uncomfy. That was the only thing that was unpleasant. But it didn't ruin anything. Because everything else was perfect. And side note we got in hot tub and it was sooo relaxing! I loved it! We definitely want to make it a yearly trip and would go back and recommend this place to anyone.
The location was great! And the cabin was in a good condition!

What a great find. Rooms and shared areas were extremely clean with a plethora of amenities. There was plenty of room and each of the sleeping accommodations were comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.
Worked well for our family. Near our Tahoe family, plan on driving as you are far from Tahoe proper. (Appliances in poor shape and there weren’t enough blankets) Minor issues. Overall a good stay
Had a great time in Tahoe, the house was beautiful with everything you would need for a mountain stay. Except heat.. Unfortunately down stairs heat was not working where 3 bedrooms were located. Only source of heat was upstairs fireplace. When we communicated this to property manager they attempted to “troubleshoot” by having us send picture of thermostat. This went nowhere. Manager said “we’ll have a tech drop off space heaters and have a hvac tech check out the unit.” Got the space heaters but never heard back from the manager after that. We did get a snowstorm so I’m sure that’d be the excuse for why hvac tech couldn’t come out but in reality people were on the road by the next morning after storm and it would of been nice to have the manager reach out and update us with progress of getting heat fixed. Not having heat when nights get below 20 degrees is unsafe. We had three space heaters, one in each downstairs bedroom. This was not very comforting. Having all three space heaters on at once was tripping the breaker about every 20 minutes. We had to run them overnight(one in the kids room) which was unsafe, an extreme fire hazard, and inconvenient. With the lack of communication and resolution of the issue from management we felt as if they were already aware of this problem and they were just trying to turn over renters as they made us aware someone was checking out the day we checked in and someone was checking in on the day of our check out. My recommendation to management is although the winter time can bring a lot of renters to their home, they should focus on the safety and well being of their guests by doing preventative maintenance/ safety inspections of property in between every few clients. Otherwise the stay was great however in the future I would not go back to this rental.
