With its three bedrooms, a spacious living area, and a private back deck, this home is perfectly situated in the calm and quiet Boulders Condo Community, close to the conveniences of downtown, but away from the crowds, making it the ideal combination of comfort and location. A rare gem in Truckee, this villa has lovely tree views right from the living room where you can enjoy warming yourself before the gas fireplace while the kids play board games over the dining table. Put on a movie marathon with the Blu-ray DVD player, the large flatscreen cable TV, and lots of buttered popcorn and oven-baked jalapeño poppers! Speaking of the oven, you'll find plenty of stainless steel appliances and fun cookware in the full kitchen, including a dishwasher to make cleanup quick and easy. The deck is the perfect place to entertain guests with a fun barbecue on the private gas grill, or to enjoy your first cup of coffee from the comfort of an Adirondack chair. When you're not enjoying the terrific nearby outdoor activities, take advantage of the shared hot tub and pool or use the free WiFi to download an energizing playlist before visiting the shared fitness center. This home also provides beach towels for those summertime trips to Lake Tahoe.

Had a great time. Thanks.
This is a very nice condo. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable as is the living area. It’s an upstairs unit. We appreciated that we could park our vehicle in the garage during winter. We definitely recommend staying here. The complex is quiet and nice. The hot tub and gym is very nice also.
Very comfortable, well stocked, 2nd floor (18 steps to front door) condo. Private deck with view of woods. Kitchen is well stocked with staples. Well maintained and very clean with the exception of carpets which were in need of cleaning. No A/C which could be a problem for some in Summer, and it was unusually warm during our stay, but Truckee cools off at night so we were OK. The availability of a couple of small portable room fans for bedrooms (or bring your own) would make the infrequent heat a non-issue. There is train noise as other reviewers mentioned, but closing windows when weather is cooler (and the hum of portable room fans) should help. Location is good within easy walking distance to supermarket, CVS, Starbucks, a few local restaurants and a neighborhood brewery. Nice, fairly new neighborhood. Price paid was quite reasonable compared to nearby hotels and comparable properties. We would enjoy staying here again.
We rented this small condo for a weekend getaway for the family and it served its purpose quite well. Well located off 89, close to Truckee with accessibility to both Olympic Valley and Northstar. The carpets seemed quite stained, but other than that, the place was clean. The grill was quite small and nearly out of propane (and was in the garage rather than the deck) but we managed to get our food cooked. Overall, we enjoyed the place and found it was exactly what we needed for an evening refuge after playing in the mountains all day!
Pros: - Nice place that worked well for our group - Bus stop to the Palisades picks up ~4 min walk away - Hot tub just a couple min walk from the property - Access to garage and sleds Cons: - Sent two messages to property manager (it's a management group not the actual condo owner) and didn't get responses on either - there wasn't a way to message them through a text or the emails that Vacasa sent either, just a phone number - WiFi was spotty - wouldn't recommend working from here if you have to take video meetings
Clean and comfortable! Brought sanitizing wipes to wipe down surfaces, door knobs, sink fixtures, toilets, light switches, etc - white wipes stayed white! Condo was not dusty. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, plates, pots, pans, strainer, cutting board, etc. Frig was spotless, as were the microwave, stove top and oven. Didn't use the dishwasher, looked clean. Washer and dryer worked and came in handy. Lots of extra towels, linens, blankets in the closets along with board games and dvds. Location is safe and quiet, in walking distance to McD's, Village Pizza (very yummy), Save Mart plaza. 8 min drive to Donner Lake Kitchen (superb food and service) and Donner Lake. 12 min drive to North Star. 18 min drive to Kings Beach. Near train tracks but the train sounds were quite faint and did not wake us up. We didn't get to use the pool and hot tub as they were closed, maybe next time. There was no bbq gas grill on the patio which was mentioned by another review - no biggie. Wifi was fast enough to do some unexpected work, thank goodness. Would definitely book again with Vacasa, especially this condo.
Nice, clean and quiet place. Thank you!
Rented this place for a week. It was very comfortable. Close to downtown Truckee, good restaurants, and skiing. Nice private view. We had a few small issues checking in but they were resolved right away and the communication was stellar. I will stay here again.
This condo was comfortable and charming! The location was great, in a cute little neighborhood and within an easy distance to everything Truckee and Tahoe City have to offer. The single floor layout was cozy and safe for kids. I wish I could do 4.5 stars, as I only wouldn't give it all 5 due to the broken washing machine (which I wasn't made aware of and tried to do a load but ended up with a mess), the hot tub was out of order which was a bummer, and just a few small kitchen items for cooking seemed to be missing. Other than those tiny things, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the showers had great pressure. I would recommend it to a friend and absolutely stay here again!
This condo was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. There are 2 downsides worth mentioning-the condo does not have air-conditioning. This won't be an issue for most of the year, but when we stayed in late July it was uncomfortably hot in the condo (above 83 degrees Fahrenheit inside). Second, the management company is national, not local. most of the time this won't be an issue, but when something goes wrong (in our case the washer/dryer weren't working)they seem to lack the ability/knowledge to quickly address issues.
