We stayed here for 5 nights. It's a very quaint little place. We had some furnace issues upon arrival but someone was sent there pretty quick to fix it. The only thing I think they should of done was get that filter replaced. I was in contact with them for 5 days trying to get that done. We offered to replace it but they didn't want us too. So we did have to stay 5 nights without fileted air, which comes from a damp basement. But oh well. There are no tvs which I appreciate. We did wish there was a fireplace still but it's been concreted in. That would of made it so nice in the evenings :) the screened in space outside was very cute! The bed was so comfy :) we had no problem sleeping! We would stay there again! I know it sounds like I'm complaining a lot.. but really it's a great place.
Cabin was cute, clean and well maintained. However that was the most uncomfortable bed my husband and I ever slept in and the loudest. We ended up putting the two couches together downstairs and slept in those. Not quite what I hoped for my weekend getaway with my husband. It was nice to have the screened in porch area and fire pit.
Very cute and rustic. Loved that it was a true cabin feel. House was very clean. Cute sitting area outside and they have a small fire pit. While the listing does state there is no AC I just wish they had a fan. The upstairs sleeping area gets very hot and stuffy.
We made the best of it but those are among the least uncomfortable beds I have ever attempted to sleep on. The cabin is extremely unlevel which doesn’t help matters with the beds. We noticed the basins on the kitchen sink back up when water is ran so we called Vacasa. A local rep eventually called back and said that they already knew about the sink and have an appointment with a plumber on 3SEP23 to fix it. My question is why they rented the place out with a known deficiency.? Because of this we had to eat all meals out which was a very unanticipated expense. We asked the maintenance person and the Vacasa rep to ask the property owner to compensate for this but they never got back to us. All in all, we made the best of it and still had a decent vacation but someone should probably fix the plumbing. I recommend to that the property owner spend 3 nights out there and sleep on each of the beds to they can see what I’m referring! I spent 20 years in the Infantry and I’d much rather sleep on the ground!! There is a way to level the beds even though the floor is unlevel. I recommend doing that. I also recommend getting rid of all beds there and replacing them with proper sized beds with more comfortable mattresses. Thanks, Corey
Very nice little cottage, secluded from neighbours, quiet and private. Was relatively clean, though some dishes were dirty when we arrived. Coffee maker and tea provided, coffee not provided. The listing unfortunately doesn’t mention this, but there is a BBQ. We would have loved to know about this, especially since we messaged vacasa beforehand and they said “the listing does not state there is a BBQ, therefore there is no BBQ.” Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. canola oil and S&P only. The stairs leading to the sleeping loft are fine for adults but there are no railings so I would be careful with little ones or elderly. The sleeping area itself is one large loft with 3 beds, no separation between them. The location is really good, close to grocery and gas stations. 30 min drive to Ossipee mountains trailheads.
This was the perfect home away from home. I loved how secluded and peaceful it was. We enjoyed hiking just steps from the backyard and then relaxing in the screened in porch. Best part is it’s pet friendly ?. This will definitely be a spot we return
