Quiet & contemporary cabin with spacious deck & mountain views - dogs welcome

Wasn’t the cleanest property and was a bit noisy near the road but wonderful room setup (if you don’t mind narrow circular stairs) and big balcony

Beautiful, spacious, cozy, views spectacular, wonderfully decorated, like new condition. The front walk and parking area very unsafe with ice. Wish there was a barrel of sand, gravel, salt in porch to throw down. The lock box was broken and there is no one handy and local to call. Finally stumbled on a local office and called the number on the front door for help. Could be better customer service. The place itself was outstanding though.

Bed sheets were a little dirty but that’s all

Awesome place to stay! Fell in love with the town of Girdwood

Cute updated house. We loved the mountain views and back porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us too! Our 4 year old liked being in biking/walking distance to the playground in town.

Great very nice and a great view

My wife and I went to Alaska to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had a blast and enjoyed staying at this cabin last week. The Alyeska Nordic Spa was great, The seven glaciers restaurant at the top of the team was amazing. Awesome trip and this cabin felt like home.

nice to have bedrooms on separate floors for privacy. It is tucked away in a great location to all activities in the area. Lots of nice kitchen appliances...pots and pans need replacing. Pillows need replacing, but the beds were comfortable.

What an amazing stay! The view from the balcony is priceless. The house has everything you need to cook and bbq. Very spacious and roomy inside. Lots of hiking and restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the Girdwood area.

Awesome spot for two for a birthday weekend getaway with the new puppy. Very clean with all of the amenities you need. Only used the kettle since we ate out for every meal, but all of the appliances are brand new and waiting for someone less lazy than us lol. There are two decks that are begging for some outdoor furniture… but we just took some of the many chairs from the inside - outside to enjoy the perfect weather and view. See you again for sure!

This was the perfect getaway for us in Girdwood. The house was furnished with all things we needed for our stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Communication was great and easy to check in/out. Would definitely recommend!

Thus property was great for our time at Alyeska. The place was clean and comfortable and suited our family really well.

Great amount of space for three people and our furry friend

Overall a nice stay away. Check-in was very easy. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the pull out bed. The mattress needs to be cleaned badly and there wasn't a mattress cover to put on it. The rest of the place was lovely.

Truly enjoyed the updated decor and amenities. Very clean. Deck lights are so fun! Kitchen is well appointed. Please add in your listing the type of coffee makers. Fireplace is so pretty and decj is fantastic. New comforter is in order downstairs. Would atay herr again.

Comfortable, quiet, convenient cabin close to Girdwood and Alyeska. It had everything we needed during our 1 night stay. Be aware that there are additional check in procedures that you will need to finish before receiving the lock code to enter.

Extremely easy to check in. Also appreciated notification of ability to check in early. The place was clean. I know it’s pet-friendly, which I’m sure a lot of people appreciate, but it did have a “dog” smell. I would suggest adding a pizza cutter. The most disappointing thing was not being able to use washer and dryer. I wish this was communicated beforehand, as we planned our schedule based on ability to use (we thought) and could’ve easily done laundry somewhere else before our stay had we known. We did enjoy our stay. Thank you!

Space, clean, location

We loved this little hidden place! It is quite spacious, clean, and well organized. They had everything you would need. The view from the back porch is stunning! You have a beautiful forest with views into the mountains. The fireplace is perfect and it warms up the place quickly. It is great that it has 2 bathrooms so you are not waiting on others. It is perfectly located to explore the Chugach State Park or make your way down to Seward or Whittier. Check the pantry that is located under the stairs before you go buy what you need! We missed it. We would definitely book it again!

All in all, an “okay” stay. Grabbed some groceries to grill food for dinner. Propane tank was empty so we needed to change gears. Phoned the management company, and unless you are fluent in 7 different languages, good luck understanding their English. Never got a propane tank from them during our stay. Additionally, the washer was leaking water all over the floor. Without pulling the unit out, I could not figure out where the leak was coming from. That issue also did not get fixed from the management company. On our checkout day, we phoned the management company once again and asked if they’d extend our checkout time by 1 hour…. We were told that late checkouts weren’t allowed. The house itself was great, but their management company could use some improvement!

Close to all the activities around Whittier and Portage. Cute breakfast and lunch places close by the home. Easy check in and check out. House has everything you need but your food and personal items.
