Stayed Jul 30, 2025We loved everything about this house! The lovely interior has been really well preserved. It's very comfortable for a group of six. The porch is great, we sat out there every evening. The beach is beautiful (5 minute walk from the house). Easy walk to the food store and restaurants. Thanks very much to the owners who are quick to reply and very pleasant to deal with!

Stayed Aug 27, 2022House minutes from beach and lake. Old house kept very very clean. Perfectly functional appliances and AC. Well stocked in every way. Even had a high chair for our toddler. Kids loved the old house. Want to make the stay a regular annual family thing. The only drawback is that the nearest hospital is half hour away in case of a medical emergency but everything else is in town. The other thing is if the kids are very young (I have 2 and 5 yr old and I am overly cautious parent) , you will want to make the house as child proof to your comfort level. Which means barricading stair entrances and setting up the living room as a comfortable play area. But I see it as a wonderful family house once my kids are a bit older and I will continue to come back here every year. All the restaurants are the best. Park for the kids is wonderful. very nice and loving community feeling. Owner responded shortly after I told her the elctric kettle was not working and right away replaced it. I have nothing but nice words about this place. Everything was made easy by the owners.
