Putter Place | Gorgeous Lakefront, Water Views!

The overall property was exactly as described. The house was spacious and provided plenty of entertainment. Everything was in working order except the front door lock- the code provided did not unlock the property. We would stay here again.

Perfect location. Easy access to the lake. House was clean. Lots to do and eat close by. Would like a gate at top of steps on porch because of small kids.

Loved the view of the lake. The house was big.. loved it. The only issue we had is that the shower water smelled bad, like something was burning. Over all i would stay there again. Thank you for having us :)

We will be back! Putter Place was perfect for our family and extended family. Plenty of space to laught together and make memories! Swimming in the lake, kayaking and playing games on the deck kept us entertained all week. We will be back!

A great mostly private location at the far (dam) end of the lake. Very quiet and not much boat traffic. We rented a pontoon boat from the Aquatic Center (30min by boat) for three days and used every moment of it. The house fit four couples, two singles and six kids under ten. There was enough room that nobody was on top of one another. The outdoor patio was great for grilling and dining outside. The house was comfortably equipped with beds, furniture and cooking supplies. The AC worked great. Downsides of the house were the breaker kept tripping for the oven, which made cooking a challenge. Bottled water is supplied because the tap water has a heavy sulfur smell and poor taste: the house was out of water when we arrived and took a day to get more. The hot tub had no chemicals for it and got very gross very fast. All in all 10/10 would recommend even with the listed challenges.

Our family with adult kids came in from three cities for a driveable vacation destination and really enjoyed Deep Creek area and Putter Place. A lot of the rentals here are more rustic and I wanted something less so, this worked. All of the bedrooms that aren't bunks have king beds - check. Plenty of bathrooms, although the shower stalls are very tight and lack decent shower heads. Might be because the water isn't great - you need to drink bottled water, which they have, but was empty when we checked in on Saturday. I opened up a maintenance ticket with Taylor Made rentals that night and Tuesday they told me they would be there this week. Frustrating when one of the reasons we picked this location was so we didn't have to shop, we brought everything we thought we needed for the week. The house is nicely equipped (kitchen is set up for large groups if you have one) and the open main floor with deck access is lovely. We enjoyed several gorgeous sunsets and the fire pit a few nights - easy to sink into lake life! Renting boats was fun, our neighbors had a water trampoline delivered and their kids loved it. Hiking at Deep Creek State Park was outstanding. Highly recommend the area and Putter Place, I can only imagine how beautiful it is when the leaves are turning in the Fall!

The location of this house is great especially when you have young children so they could swim in the lake (not too deep). Only one complaint is that there needs to be better lighting in the kitchen especially and the shower head in the master bedroom on the main level bathroom needs to be changed. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this house. We also loved the check in and check out process. Thank you for a great vacation.
