Stayed Aug 4, 2025The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only problems were on the exterior, where it appears we caught them in the middle of a landscaping project. The steps to the water need securing. Porch needs railing, etc.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025Looks are very deceiving- Yes, technically there is beach access- for a few hours of the day. This house sits on a steep hill leading down to an ocean canal. the tide is out 1/2 the day leaving no water at the dock. Speaking of dock, it is a treacherous journey that is not for the elderly, anyone who’s had a few drinks, or anyone out of shape (my category).

Stayed Jul 25, 2025The pathway and stairs to the water was dangerous. My 11 year old slipped and fell trying to use the unsturdy steps and unsturdy rope rail. Thank goodness the neighbors were in town and let us use their pathway and stairs to get onto the water. The house was clean and roomy. There was no extra garbage bags for the kitchen but I brought my own anyway. The checkout process was not clear. No instructions were received via email. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. Communication with the host was not good. Responses were not received in a timely manner. I booked via Vrbo.com but was getting email communication from both Vrbo and Vacasa that was sometimes confusing and contradictory. I don’t recommend bringing kids due to the steep and dangerous access to the water. Recommend adults only. Other than that, the property was gorgeous.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025Home misrepresented. On water not beach and beach access is a drive or boat ride away

Stayed Jul 18, 2025This house is a great spot for those who want to relax and get out on the water. There are many kayaks and paddleboards with plenty of life jackets too. The kitchen is useable, everything is clean, the beds are decently comfortable. No nearby places for a hike, but plenty of backyard bird-watching. The path down to the water is a little hazardous, probably not good for very small people or mobility-impaired folks.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025This house is nestled in an inlet of the Puget Sound in Mason County. The views are beautiful, especially from the back deck or down by the dock during high tide. The split level house worked well for two families. It's an older house that came with some quirks and a few things that should be fixed. The front main burner on the stove didn't work. Downstairs, the only smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and didn't work. The 2 showers were just ok. However, the living areas were both nice. We cooked almost all our meals at the house and found most of what we needed. A few things included in the house that are missing from the listing are a fun arcade game with hundreds of retro video games, a BBQ on the back deck, a fire pit and wood pile in the yard, 3 kayaks and a stand up paddle board attached to the dock, and a shed with life jackets and paddles.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024Our stay was overpriced and they didn’t have coffee. Towels were in disarray and there was birdseed on the floor. Neighborhood was nice but it is super far away from anything so they should at least tell you they don’t have essentials.

Stayed May 25, 2024The house was big enough for 5 of us but could have housed more. Two separate kitchens. Comfortable beds. Nice view. Family reunions would do great here. Stairs so if you can't maneuver stairs not for you. But it was comfortable and the kitchen had the needed wares to cook except for a can opener. It needs a bit of work but it's a solid place to stay for sure.
