Stayed Oct 8, 2025Perfect for a quick mid week getaway. House was clean, awesome river views, and comfy beds. The home was filled with great art and an awesome library with lots of photography books, plus a bonus bocce court and lots of outdoor spaces for river/eagle watching relaxation. Our stay was just what we needed.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025The property was beautiful and as advertised. Check in was smooth, and Danny was very prompt with answers to the two questions we had, and helpful in recommending some restaurants in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great dinners and enjoy them inside or outside. We enjoyed staying there with our dog and hiking nearby, as well as hanging out on the deck reading and watching the bald eagles near the river.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025This is what I would want to know when making my decision of where to stay. It is a beautiful home and location. The water was wonderful - shallow so you can walk right in from the backyard or kayak. Problem with the river - fast current, so be ready to paddle. Eagles are in your backyard together with foxes and deer. Neighbors are the downside if you want solitude (like me - prefer no neighbors or at least not right next door). Bocce ball court is awesome. The grill needs to be replaced and there is no microwave for quick warmups. The town is adorable, but closed the majority of the time. The pizza place does not permit ordering out during the summer. Make reservations ASAP or you are likely not going to get a table. Oh, try the brisket from Big Eddy's Brewing. There is antiquing in Hawley - 30 minutes away. But again, a lot of the stores are closed except Friday-Sunday. The Tusten trail for hiking is definitely moderate and an all around good hike. We decided that overall, we prefer the environment of the Adirondacks - more privacy, hiking, etc. to do. The location - only neighbors on one side which is nice. For the majority of folks, this is an outstanding place, it just isn't secluded enough for us and enough activity.

Stayed May 16, 2025The home is situated on a dead end on the river about a ten minute walk from the restaurants and shops on main street, the house is clean and well appointed. The front garden is beautiful and the back yard gently slopes down to the river. It is a great house, the host is not overbearing in any way. We had a great long weekend.

Stayed Apr 17, 2025We had such a nice stay at this lovely cabin in Narrowsburg!! My kids enjoyed running around the beautiful property and lounging on the hammocks. The cabin is just perfect and we admired all of the artwork and unique touches throughout. Danny was a terrific host from start to finish. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024My wife, our bassett hound, and I stayed in the cabin with our sister and her partner and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We were visiting Bethel woods and wanted a relaxing place to stay by the river with our dog, and this was perfect. Danny was great and helpful with our travel plans (thank you Danny!) We originally planned on spending time in/on the river during the day but arrived just after a tropical storm and the river was not cooperating. Even so we had an excellent time just sitting in the back yard and watching the river and playing some guitar. We plan on returning next time we are in bethel area.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024We were looking for a place to really get away with our kids- 15 & 17. (The Orlando vacations were always fun but we would come back more frazzled and fatigued than before.) This house along the river, with the hammock, bocci court, wildlife everywhere— had just the right amount of everything. We had busy days rafting and fishing; more quiet days walking into town or simply enjoying the property. Our teenage kids told us it was one of their favorite places to go. We forgot how to relax but this place helps you figure it out again. Thanks for letting us stay.
