Stayed Jul 11, 2025This updated home worked out excellent for our three adult couples. The location was convenient to other small communities and various bars and restaurants. The home was well stocked with the basic kitchen necessities and had very nice linens. The lake was quiet and we had very good luck fishing for largemouth bass and other pan fish. Would highly recommend.

Stayed Apr 30, 2025Clean, comfortable, and well appointed property that was perfect for our Northwoods fishing trip. We had everything we could need and really enjoyed the home for a week as we hunted in the various lakes around the property for early spring smallmouth action.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024Quite impressed! The homeowners of Upper Gresham Retreat truly know how to provide for and spoil their guests. The accommodations are well designed, very clean, easy to use, and warmly welcoming. The kayaks are a nice touch as well. We were surprisingly able to spend time paddling around the lake on October 12 and delightedly caught a small mouth bass. Thank you for sharing your lovely retreat with us.

Stayed Oct 7, 2024Upper Gresham Retreat was the perfect place for our fall getaway. This beautiful home is equipped with everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We enjoyed the fire pit, the kayaks and the lovely fireplace. It was also close to several small towns we were interested in visiting. The fall colors were beautiful! Stayed Jul 11, 2024We loved the beautiful views and quiet corner of Upper Gresham Lake. The loons and abundant fish made for family fun in this lovely setting. Kayaking was a peaceful experience. We also rented a pontoon boat for several days which they can drop off at the DNR boat landing on the north side of the lake. Also lots of hiking and biking within 10 miles of the house.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Thank you for our stay. Our family enjoyed a really relaxing getaway together! The house was extremely clean and spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed. The property itself had a very private feel to it while still being on the lakefront. We all enjoyed using the kayaks provided. Every night we enjoyed fires at the well groomed fire pit. All in all we had a really enjoyable time there! Thanks again!
