The house was a nice place, The house was well supplied and well furnished. We had two issues associated with this property. First, we were moved from our initially rental due some circumstances outside of the agent’s control. The property manager’s agent assured us that the place we received was far better place. Additionally they told me not to worry about the price difference implying it was more expensive. When I actually priced the new place, it was actually $300+ cheaper because it was a new place on the market. I get that it was a new place and that is why it’s cheaper because it’s new and there are always initial issues. Bottom line is that we were moved to a cheaper place and the rental agency pocketed the difference and we we told “we were given a much nicer place”. During our visit we had a horrible refrigerator issue that wasn’t ever resolved during our stay. We lost food due to refrigeration temperature variations. I asked to have the property manager call me and never heard from her or her agent again. The other thing I would say is that the listing is misleading, it seemed like there were bathrooms conveniently located near the bedrooms. When we were moved I told the agent that our priorities were a large kitchen and three bedrooms with bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom didn’t even have a bathroom on the same floor level. In the middle of the night, this was a hassle.
We loved being a little outside of the town of Carmel and found the place to be very quiet and the area very pretty. Loved the views from the patio of the valley. It was a good for our group of 4 couples, we used the guest room above the garage in addition to the main house. We did drive to Carmel thinking that check-in was in the town of Carmel, but it's actually in Monterey so you will want to be aware of that.
The property was excellent! Stayed with a group that consisted of my mother father and brothers and my spouse, and the house was perfect size for all of us. We loved the location as it was very close to town and my grandfathers house. We would definitely stay again next time we are in town for a visit!
This home is a hidden gem in the hills of Carmel. The open floor plan living room/dining room/kitchen is very pleasing and roomy. The deck sitting area was a bonus on a warm day. And the hot tub was a big hit for our extended family. There are 3 bedrooms in the house and then an additional bedroom and bathroom that have been renovated from the garage. The house fit our family group of 7 perfectly. Marco from the property management company was incredibly kind and helpful. A five star stay for sure!
We really enjoyed our stay at Rancho Rio Vista. We had 7 people so the the 4 full bedrooms with king beds were great for our group. Nice views from the living area deck. Home is at the very end of a dead end street so it was very quite and peaceful. We saw wildlife from the house in the morning. Home was well equipped for all our needs.
We will stay here again, great location, pretty home, and great linens! We loved the view and it was the perfect size for host my husbands friends and I for his 60th.
Ping pong, board games, s’mores, quiet neighborhood, good location and and ample basic supplies made our stay memorable!
The house was big and spacious and had everything we needed and more. The beds and rooms were very comfortable. Everything was super clean. The house has great common spaces for relaxing and bonding. I loved the outdoor fire pit area. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area again.
Great location and great home
