Temecula, California
Beautiful location. Unit sits on 600+ ft of blue line stream. In a coastal wildlife reserve. RV is in the canopy of the oaks. Beautiful oak covered street that dead ends into Santa margarita reserve but only 5 min to old town. Fruit trees. Gorgeous rose gardens and arches thru out with climbing vines make this a magical place. Just like you stepped into a storybook. Two majestic Great Pyrenees help to keep all people and critters safe at night. They are big and sound intimidating because that’s their job to protect but, don’tbe fooled, they’re giant teddy bears who love people and other dogs. They just have a great disliking of coyotes and bobcats. Strong wifi and the convenience of being so close to town yet feeling so far make this space the ideal getaway for all occasions.
We came here for the Marie Corps ball, and every hotel that was reasonably priced had creepy/ sketchy reviews. I thought I was gonna have to settle, but then I found this place... and I'm glad I did. It was nice, quiet and safe. The property manager made it easy for us to find exactly where the property was located, and had such an easy access, check-in/checkout process. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay somewhere safe and quiet, so all we had to do was relax after our trip.
The oak grove provided ongoing bird watching opportunities. The hike towards the river was quite enjoyable. Jackson and Cohen were helpful...and excellent greeters! A bed upgrade would make the overall experience even better.
My grandsons and I had a great time at the property. They loved exploring the area and had fun camping in the RV. Very quiet and tons of birds to watch. Very easy to get to Downtown Temecula. Host provided great instructions on how to get to the property. We went Gem Mining in Pala, about 40 minutes away which was a lot of fun! Thanks for having a great place to make memories with my boys!
Great property amazing customer service. We will be back.
The host for this property couldn't have been nicer--we communicated by text and the host was quick to respond--even checking in to see if everything was to our liking and if we had any questions. We chose this place because we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and it couldn't have been more perfect. Fell asleep to a hooting owl, woke to woodpecker flitting about in the trees outside the big window. SO peaceful! And yet, very easy to get to the wineries and Old Town. I wanted to see what it was like to live in an RV, but I would never be pulling something this BIG...full sized refrigerator, lots of room...lovely area outside to sip your wine and watch the pups play. We will be back!
Perfect place to stay at for the weekend, nice trailer with all the things you would need. Emily was real helpful with directions and early check in. Thank you..
Perfect place for what we needed.
We were in for a wedding in Temecula and to do some Vineyard tastings. So we just needed a place to have some quick meals, wash up and crash. This worked out perfect for us. We accidentally left a bottle of wine we purchased on the counter when we left and the owners were nice enough to ship it to us. It doesn't get any friendlier than that. If you encounter two big white dogs, don't fret. Callin is just a big puppy, while Elsa (red bow) is a bit more timid. She'll bark, but she's harmless. They belong to the owners who live right down below you. Their little boys may come knocking too, just to say hi. It's a very laid back, country, atmosphere.
Best getaway! Highly recommend! Between the birds signing in the morning and frogs in the evening, loved every min!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We were very cozy and comfortable. We hope to visit again very soon.
People were very nice but #1 Owner said she was baking rolls, did I want some in trailer I happily said yes but never placed rolls in trailer, no big deal I didn't need rolls but I am big on someone keeping their word, if you have no intentions on doing what you say don't offer. #2 Went to take a shower the next morning no hot water, couldn't figure it out, had to call owner and come to find out, someone had turned off the water heater, over an hour later still no hot water because it was still heating up, har to use the owners bathroom at that point (very nice to offer but by this time it placed us behind on our schedule) should do a check of ALL these things. Very frustrating when we were short on time, we were there for our son's USMC Retirement and only there for the weekend #3 They have this trailer as VRBO but next to it is a trailer that a woman rents from them, we were woken up to her dog barking at 5:30AM, had to go out and tell her to shut her dog up, her response the dog is barking at you my response wasn't barking at me when I was sleeping and was woken up just now ps dog barked the previous morning also but I ignored stupid me #4 NOT HAPPY! It was in the 30-40's at night, we ran out of propane and were woke up freezing cold at 1:00AM!!!
So, this trailer is a really cool stay! Thoroughly enjoyed our one night here; a very peaceful stay and the bird watching was fun! The inside of the trailer is clean and current with internet/Netflix and a lovely electric fireplace! There is outdoor furniture to enjoy the Live Oak trees and birds and fresh air, but that is all there is to enjoy outside! The lot that the trailer is housed is small and there is nothing else here to do. I gave a low rating regarding the online listing because it is a bit misleading when it says it has a fire pit, horseshoes, and chicken coop; there are none of those items. I found that the outdoor description for the trailer on VRBO is from a sales listing for the house that holds the main address of this property, a house that's on the same property as the trailer. So those items are not attainable to the renter of the trailer. The trails by the stream mentioned in the VRBO description are on someone else's private property and the area says No Trespassing. All in all, we had lovely evening and morning!!
I highly recommend this place! It’s quiet. At night you can hear the frogs. It’s all so peaceful! Perfect stay for us for our 10-year anniversary. The host was amazing too. Very responsive.
Great experience. Had a wedding and birthday in the area and super glad we picked this location to stay in. Emily and Jackson were so welcoming and friendly. The motor home was in great condition, everything was well kept. Waking up to coffee and warm fire in the hills was lovely. Would recommend to friends and family for sure.
