Our FAQ:

HOW FAR TO BEACH: A quick walk from Black Tern to Audubon and to the beach- about 10-15 minutes walk or 7 minute bike ride. Or drive to the Beach Trolley lot for complementary shuttle service to the Beach Club.

BEACH CLUB ACCESS/PARKING Onsite parking AT the Beach Club is permitted for all overnight guests, Labor Day-mid March. From Mid March through end of summer, special Beach Trolleys transport guests from various parking spots within Sea Pines to the Beach Club. Closest Beach Trolley location is at Greenwood Drive and Willow Oak, less than 5 minutes by car from Black Tern. DAY AFTER LABOR DAY THROUGH MARCH, EVERYONE MAY PARK AT THE BEACH CLUB.

VEHICLES/ATTACHMENTS denied entry to Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes include motorcycles/scooters, any vehicle categorized as an RV (this includes vans with hook ups), boats, jet skis, and trailers or any kind.

PETS: We welcome your well-behaved dog (small to medium sized) for $350 per dog. Regrettably, Labradors and other oily coated breeds are not allowed. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds (or their humans will have to pay the fine) and must be crated when left alone in the property.

No pets in your party No problem as there is NO pet evidence in this house.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-refundable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

POOL: Perfect pool to relax/swim with scenic marsh view. Heatable with electricity (cost effective, but ineffective in coldest months of the year). Charge for electric pool heat is  $150.00 for the first day and $50.00 each additional day during March - May and September - November. This charge is non-taxable and non-refundable.

Super easy to roll right into this home and relax, given that all the essentials are already there for you. The pool is great to have. To clarify the setup of the rooms: the master suite with a king and ensuite and the additional 2 bedrooms have a jack and jill set up. It was perfect for our family and we will def return!

The house was very clean, the layout and furnishings were nice, the pool and view were fabulous and the location was great. I greatly appreciated the “extras” in this home such as laundry detergent, actual soap dispensers in the bathrooms, beach towels, beach chairs, wagons, etc. We had such a wonderful experience and will try to stay in this home again.

Well maintained and equipped. 15-20 minute walk to South Beach and the Salty Dog. Large rear deck, overlooking the pool, provided plenty of lounging space, and easy access to the gas grill. Would definitely consider returning.

Only comments--we did not notice the 'shared bathroom' in the description, and thought description referenced QUEEN sized beds in bedroom 2 and 3 (but they were FULL sized). Other than these, was a great stay, as always.
