Come stay at our country retreat on Locust Grove. This home is nestled onto 2.5 acres which includes dozens of mature maples, pines & birch trees. The back yard feels like a woodland oasis. There is a large yard to accommodate family football/volleyball games or just lotsof room to spread your wings. Beautifully landscaped, rock gardens, private playground & a heated pool. The property also has fruit trees & herb gardens (that you are welcome to help yourself to), 2 fire pits, balcony with views of the city & mountains-bogus basin. This 5 bed 6 bath home is over 4800 sq. ft. Solid oak floors and knotty alder woodwork throughout. There Is a surplus of parking on the property so bring all your automobiles & toys. Open floor plan has a Gourmet kitchen with Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, breakfast bar, formal and casual dining areas . The Great room has vaulted ceilings, wood burning rock fireplace, built in entertainment center and wet bar.

The main floor consists of the powder room, kitchen, TV/seating nook, laundry room, Great room, dining & Bar area.

Wet Bar- Sink, wine cooler, beer fridge, Blender & drink mixing tools included with bar seating. (BYOB)
Great room- Wood burning fireplace and comfortable seating. Smart TV, Dish TV & DVD are available. Game table for an impromptu chess match & large sectional to seat many guests comfortably.
Kitchen- Sub Zero Double oven, sub-zero fridge. Grill available on the backyard patio which can be accessed through the kitchen. The kitchen nook table seats 5, counter area seats 6, the dining table seats 8, bar area seats 4 and covered patio outdoor seating.
BASEMENT
Downstairs you will find the Media room, game room/playroom area, 2 bathrooms and 1 large bedroom.
Media room- Media entertainment includes a 70-inch flat screen smart TV, Dish TV & DVD player. Media room includes lots of seating for movie watching, game table, variety of board games, cards, dominoes, etc.
Upstairs
Bedroom #2- King size bed in a large room with sitting areas & includes a smart TV, DVD player & Dish TV It has an on suite bathroom complete with clubfoot tub, walk in shower and guest closet. From this room, you will be able to open the sliding doors onto the deck and sit in the rocking chairs to enjoy the view & wine.
Bedroom 3- includes a full-size bed and a private full bathroom. Also includes Smart TV & DVD player. Sleeps 2
Bedroom #4- full bedroom with twin trundle. Private full bathroom. Smart TV. Sleeps 2

We reserve the right to change the bed arrangement as long as the house still sleeps the same number of people or more.
Outdoor area
Playground includes a large play system, teeter totter, & dome climber.
There are a couple outdoor tables people in the yard area & picnic table & chairs for additional seating.
The pool area includes under patio seating- large table -seats 6 & lounging area for 8. There are 2 loungers to grab some rays & 2 chair & ottoman combos near the pool-seating for 4
Pool is heated and has an automatic cover for safety when not in use. There are double locks on doors for extra safety for little ones. Please do not leave children in the pool unattended. (Pool is open May 1st- Sept 30th)
The patio area contains a gas grill and prep/cooking table to help with the Grill master accomplish their grilling masterpiece. The patio is accessible to the kitchen where the fire extinguishers can be found. ;)
This property also has a fire pit. Great for roasting marshmallows & telling ghost stories.
Large driveway Accommodates multiple vehicles (outdoor parking only) with lots of room to maneuver.
We have a chicken coop on the property and you welcome to hang out with our feathered friends we ask that you don’t enter the coop and they will in no way impede on your stay. Other animals will be kept on the property but will also have no access to your rented area or the yard. They will be contained in a different portion of the property. The yard is domestic/livestock animal debris free.
We have high speed WI-Fi for your devices. A collection of DVDs, books & family games to help you enjoy your stay with us.
We have temperature control for each story of the home, so you are able to stay perfectly comfortable. We also have 2 hot water heaters for a surplus of hot water for everyone.
We are located close to Family Fun Spots like Roaring Springs water slide park & Wahooz Family Fun center or Hang out at the new Hot spot @ the Village-Meridian with lots of shopping, great dining & movie theater with 21+VIP seating. Jump on the freeway & your less than 15 minutes away from Julia Davis Park with attractions like the Boise Zoo, Art Museum and Idaho State Historical Museum. Downtown Boise also has great shopping, dining, pubs, coffee shops & boutiques.
Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, Boise, Mountain Home + all valley destinations are easily assessed with freeway access minutes down the street. A large variety of nationally known restaurants & one of kind unique eating destinations, in the middle of a half dozen coffee shops (2 Starbucks) as well as local hot spots are close by within 5 minutes’ drive.
