Private Pool, Beachfront, Quiet ~ Coastal Cove

The house was perfect it had everything you could possibly need . The pool was big and in the perfect location you felt like you were on the beach . The house is steps away from the beach however you do have to walk a few walkways over due to the channel running in front, it’s not like the pictures but not a big deal for us . The neighbors did tell us this would be fixed in December. We will definitely be back . We rented a golf cart and this made it easy to get all of our things to and from the beach . The house is not far from Port St Joe and we had lots of wonderful seafood . All and all this was one of our favorite fall vacations thank you for sharing your home !

Overall we had an incredible trip. The property and location is great. The house was spacious and clean. The beach is fantastic and it felt like our own private beach. We also enjoyed the pool, and when it started getting dirty after a couples days of use we called to have it cleaned and they came out right away and cleaned it well. No issues with the water temp or water pressure. No issues with Wifi. The kitchen is well stocked. AC worked well. My family and I enjoyed this property and we all agree that we would stay here again. There were a couple minor inconveniences worth mentioning. A prior review references how the wooden dock/walkout to the beach is unusable; this was 100% the case. There is extensive erosion of the dunes at the end of the walkout resulting in a sandy cliff about 7-10ft high, and the dock now sits at a very sloped angle rendering it unusable. I don't see how this could be fixed unless the walkout is rebuilt and significantly lengthened. The only way to safely get to the beach is to cut across to the neighbor's walkout, which we did without issue (although I believe the next door property was vacant during our stay...). The knob/dial to one of the stove burners was completely missing upon our arrival which made the largest stovetop burner unusable, which was very inconvenient when cooking for 9 people. This wasn't fixed during our stay, hopefully they'll address that ASAP. Be aware they don't provide toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, etc.

Despite the pictures online we had no direct beach access. The boardwalk from the house was boarded up (including caution tape) and the beach was eroded away. We only went to the beach two days during our week long stay because we had to use our neighbors boardwalk to get to the beach and they weren’t very happy about that. The house was great but we booked for the location on the beach and unfortunately the pictures in the posting are not reality. When reaching out to the property management company, I was ignored, disconnected, yelled at and hung up on. I still haven’t heard back from them even though I was told a manager would be in contact. I definitely would not recommend this place or the property management company.

Excellent property. Pool was excellent. Especially on days with weather conditions.

We enjoyed our stay at Coastal Cove very much. The house is perfectly outfitted and maintained. We visited for Thanksgiving and the house took care of every one of our needs or wants. Highly recommend a stay at Coastal Cove.

We loved this place! Money Bayou was easily accessible and was fun for the kids to play in. The beach here is wide and not very populated. The house has everything you need. In fact, it has the best equipped kitchen of anywhere we’ve stayed. The pool was a good size and right on the beach. There was plenty of parking and the landscaping was well done. We would rent this house again!

Location was great. House was beautiful. House was unlocked when we got there and we never got the the front door look to work so had to get creative to lock the doors when we left. Normal supplies were severely lacking for a 7 day stay. No problem washing our own towels and wash cloths each day except we had to go purchase our own detergent. No hand soap I’m bathrooms? Had to purchase. No condiments, not even salt and pepper? Tiny tiny bottle of sink detergent. You get my drift. We keep the rental clean but have never ever had to supply so many of our own supplies immediately upon arrival. Not a good welcome.

Right on the beach, great private pool that was great with the kids, Master Bedroom View was fantastic and a really good kitchen with everything you need. The bathroom down by the pool and outdoor shower was a great addition.

Well, if you could score a rental property 10 stars, Coastal Cove would get it. My wife and I have been coming to the Santa Rosa Beach area for 12 years, renting VRBO properties. We decided to explore the Port St. Joe area as Santa Rosa Beach is getting pretty congested. Well, Coastal Cove was a real find. Unbelievable! First, the house was immaculate. The kitchen was better equipped than any rental we have ever experience, from glasses, to dishes, to flatware, to cooking pots and pans, to storage containers, to even having a crockpot to use, actually two of them. Unbelievable. Then there is a screened in porch for sitting and enjoying the views of the Gulf, and a second screened in porch for eating out and enjoying the views of the Gulf! The pool was great, clean and crystal clear. I love to swim and enjoyed 30 minutes of lap swimming every morning. And the beach? Well, where the rentals along Santa Rosa Beach have a lot of tourists wandering the beach, if we had 12 people walk in front of our rental for an entire day, that was a lot. There is no doubt this rental ranks as Number 1 of all the rentals we have done in Florida. Believe the pictures on the website. They are real and the place is as good if not better than it looks. We can almost guarantee you will enjoy your stay there. We certainly did for the 2 weeks we were there. We still can’t believe we found such a wonderful place on the Gulf.
