Open, bright and spacious, the main floor has two bedrooms, a full bath, laundry room, kitchen dining and living areas which take in the views from its soaring windows and sliding glass doors. Truly a special home in an idyllic setting...perfect for your Cooperstown getaway!
Important Info for Winter Reservations at Twin Ponds:
If you are staying with us during the winter months, as you know, there could be snow. The driveway will be plowed but the circular drive can be steep in some areas. All-wheel drive is recommended, but anyone with good snow tires and front wheel drive should be fine too.
Everything in the home was exactly as described! I recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in a secluded and quite home while taking in all the sights in and around Cooperstown, NY!
They house was nicely equipped with everything we needed. I felt that the linens needed to be cleaned. The bed my mother stayed in we had to take the sheets off and wash them. They smelled so sweaty. The top quilt for upstairs was very dirty and smelly. The downstairs smelled very musty. The property was very nice, saw deer in the morning and evening around the pond.
This home has everything to make a family vacation very comfortable and enjoyable. It is well located for all the Cooperstown attractions.
We came for baseball tournament at Dreams Park and this was a great place to stay. The last house in the street, private, quiet and spacious.
What an awesome find in the heart of Cooperstown. It was central to all parts of our baseball trip and a beautiful drive to get t there. The beds were the most comfortable beds and decorated with adorable and soft bedding! The amazing scenery out back was so picturesque and made for fabulous photos! The owner and management were extremely helpful and responsive. I would definitely book again when we come back - highly recommended!
What a beautiful home. Everything was clean and the yard was beautiful. We ran multiple showers at a time and everyone had hot water. The kids loved hanging in the basement while the adults stayed upstairs. My only recommendation would be to put a TV in the basement.
The house was very clean and just as described in the listing. It's nestled in the woods at the end of a gravel winding road that goes up the mountain. We stayed there in the fall when the leaves were changing and it was very pretty. On our first day, as we were walking around the pond, a deer was in the woods checking us out!
The house was a very good rental, and I would recommend it to those visiting the area. Check-in and communication with property manager was smooth, everything we needed was there, and the semi-private location in the woods was great. Plenty of space for our group of 7 to spread out. What we found to be downsides were mattresses/beds where you sink to the middle, and a musty basement due to lack of basement a/c. Almost any house is going to have some imperfections, so we were able to get past these.
Our family had a great time at Twin Ponds while watching our son play at Cooperstown. Easy access to Dreams Park, downtown, and all the surrounding sites. The house was clean and well-maintained. Great family area for us to enjoy meals and hang out at night. Deck was perfect for our family BBQ. Our kids had a blast on the property and enjoyed the ponds and the fire pit. Definitely recommend!
This property was exactly what out group needed, a beautiful scenic area, close to Cooperstown. The property fit all of our needs, and there was plenty of sleeping space.
Fortunate to find such a great place to stay for our 22 Cooperstown Induction Weekend stay! Seamless experience with Suzie at Lake Lady Properties. Prompt communication. All questions and concerns immediately addressed throughout the process. The home was clean, orderly, comfortable, and had more than everything we needed for our stay! Would certainly recommed this VRBO to family and friends! Thank you!
A short drive from Dreams Park and Cooperstown, this was a great retreat for grandparents and our family. It was very peaceful but had great space for my 16 year old and his friend. They fished and played ping pong. The deck was great. We had a cool week and spent most of our time on the deck. We would come back here just to hang out and go to the hall of fame! The kitchen was stocked with dishes and silverware but had older appliances and a lack of sharp knives and limited sizes of pots and pans (no two quart sauce pan!) If you plan to cook, you might want to bring knives. Overall a great stay!
Perfect location & close to downtown and Cooperstown Dreams Park.
Great location!!! The property sites at the end of road. You pull in to see the house sitting above these quaint 2 ponds. The house is very clean and nicely set up. Spacious master bedroom with private bath with dual shower heads; great surprise. The main floor was 2 bedrooms and bath with plenty of seating. Nice way to spend quality time sitting on the patio or playing board games after a nice meal. The bottom floor is set up great for kids; 2 set of bunk beds, full bath, ping pong, indoor and outdoor seating area for them to have their own little oasis. Nice outdoor fire pit for s’mores. Wanting to explore the area everything is within a 5 to 20 minute ride. Five minute ride to downtown with the hall, shopping, and plenty of restaurants. Plenty of breweries and other outdoor activities just a short ride away. If you want to cook Price Chopper and local farmers markets or if you forget toothpaste CVS and Dollar General a short ride. Great place to get away to connect with family and friends.
