Rest easy with enough room for your party with 2 king beds, 4 queen beds, and 4 full beds, this amazing property offers comfort and space for all guests. We love our lakefront retreat and we know you will too!

About the Home:

Bedrooms: 1st floor primary bedroom suite (king with ensuite bathroom, living room area and small kitchen), 2nd floor sunny yellow bedroom (king), 2nd floor lake blue bedroom (2 queen), 2nd floor green garden bed room (queen), loft (4 full), secluded bedroom (queen), queen sofa sleeper in family room/game room.

WIFI/TVs: The TVS are connected to the Wifi and set up to cast or log into a streaming service.

Linens: There will be fresh sheets on the bed and clean towels. We just ask that you please bring any dirty linens and towels to the basement and place by the washer/dryer before you leave.
Air Conditioning/Heat: There are mini-splits in the rooms that you can set to cool (snowflake) heat (sun) or auto at a certain temperature by sliding the plastic part of the remote to reveal the “mode” button.

Supplies: We have a well-stocked pantry! Help yourself to anything in the home, but please replace anything that gets used up or seriously depleted.

Basement: There is a washer/dryer and you are free to use it. Please ensure there is nothing stuck in the washer door or it may leak. There is a de-humidifier in the storage area of the basement in case you hear it beeping. Feel free to empty it if you would like! We dump it over the rocks by the left side of the driveway.

Game Area: There is a game area in the basement with a foosball table and ping pong/pool table. The pool table is under the ping pong table. We try to fit the ping pong table parts underneath the table when we are playing pool. They are heavy so be careful! There are also puzzles, board games and card games down there and a TV and gas fireplace.

Beach/Dock: There are a few entry points to the water. Feel free to use any of them! There is a swimming platform (in the water mid-May through mid-Sept). There are 2 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddleboards that you are free to use as well. There are places to rent boats or Jetski’s and you could pull them right up to our dock and tie them up at the dock or the yellow buoy (dock/buoy in the water mid-May-mid-Sept). Goodhue in Raymond rents boats.

Fire Pit & Lawn Games: Feel free to use the fire pit and there are lawn games under the deck - feel free to use.

Lawn/Gardening: A gardener named Angela may come by to tend to the plants or mow the lawn while you are there. If you want to water the window boxes and hanging plants during your stay that would be helpful!

Safety - We recommend that small children and anyone who cannot swim well wear a life preserver when they are near the water, in the water, or using a stand up paddleboard or kayak. Also please be careful near the firepit as coals stay hot for longer than you would think!

Trash: The trash comes on Tuesdays. If you can leave the barrels at the top of the circle that would be very helpful.

Things to do!

Nearby:
Frye Island: You can get to Frye island via Ferry with a car, bikes, or on foot (cash only paid on the way there is no ATM available) or if you end up with a boat you can try to dock there. There is a restaurant there called Frye’s Leap that also has a bar, a window for coffee, ice cream and a general store. You can bike around Frye Island (feel free to use our bikes - we have 3 adult bikes). It is a magical place to visit!

Sportsman Grille: Accessible by boat with ample dock parking, or by car. Great food and outdoor eating!

Sand Bar: There is a sandbar that you can anchor by or pull up to and you may even see an ice cream boat! It is near Sebago Lake State Park.

Good Life: The Good Life is a great place we rely upon for some groceries, wine, sandwiches and salads, coffee, etc. It is on 302 in Raymond.

Ice Cream: The mosquito and the dugout are great ice cream spots!
Fun Places to Sightsee:

Naples: A fun place to visit down 302 with a boardwalk and restaurants and a very curious antique barn!

Bridgeton: Bridgeton is further down 302 and it has a couple of cute restaurants.

Cornish: An antiquing town that is very fun and lovely to visit. The restaurant Kristina’s is always packed because it is delicious. Make a reservation or go at an off time!

Portland: Portland is 50 minutes and has great restaurants and things to do like whale watches, boat rides to islands and a train ride for the kiddos.

North Conway: North Conway is about an hour away and has great outlet shopping and also white mountain hiking!

Freeport: LL Bean has its home in freeport and there are plenty of outlet stores to visit. It’s charming to walk around there.

Yarmouth and Boothbay Harbor: Fun coastal Maine towns to visit!
Kids Activities:

Portland has a narrow gauge train ride that is great for kids! South Portland also has a climbing gym that could be fun on a rainy day.

There is a mini golf place on 302 in Raymond or Windham.

Pineland Farms Farmyard has a petting zoo and Maine Wildlife Park is fun too!

Reny's: If you aren't a Maine-r definitely hit Reny's - It's a Maine Adventure. :)

Hiking/Trails:
Rattlesnake mountain is nearby and not a difficult trail to hike and it offers views of Sebago Lake.

Douglas Mountain: https://www.mainetrailfinder.com/trails/trail/douglas-mountain

Winter Skiing: We are 30 Min from Shawnee Peak, 50 min from Sunday River, 60 Min from Mt. Cranmore and 90 Min hours from Sugar Loaf.

Awesome stay. Amy and John are great hosts and we would definitely come back. The property is beautiful and spacious for a big group. We had a thunderstorm on the final day and watching the storm roll in across the lake was fun to see. The private beaches were great to have access to. 10/10

We had an amazing family vacation at this home! Amy was helpful throughout the whole process and the house had everything we needed! The house comfortably fit all 16 of us and a few furry friends as well! We enjoyed our time down at the dock, kayaking/paddle boarding, swimming, playing yard games, and hanging by the fire. We also really enjoyed the use of the game room! Renting a pontoon boat for a day was also easy as we could dock at the house. We all had an incredible time and would definitely come back for another family trip! Thank you Amy and family!!

Beautiful property. I’m only upset that I had to leave! The shoreline wrapped around a point and was perfectly manicured for privacy and exposure to the lake and distant mountain range. The accommodations were fantastic, everything we neede and everything we didn’t know we needed. The two beaches, private dock and low traffic on the lake made for an unforgettable experience. Worth every penny! We’ll be back next year!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for our family vacation! The house and the property were amazing and had everything a large family would ever need. We had 15 people, ages 8-80, and everyone had a great time. The loft was perfect for the kids and all of the adults had a room of their own. There was ample room for cooking, dining, watching TV, playing ping-pong or pool, or just napping on the porch. The host was super helpful and responsive and took care of all our needs. The recommendations were well received and we frequented the spots she recommended and found a few of our own.The house and the surrounding area were amazing but the lake was the real star! It was so much fun just hanging out on the deck, jumping in and out of the lake, swimming to the dock and relaxing. So much fun!

Phenomenal property with everything and more. Amy was a gracious host, easy to communicate with, and had a robust binder full of information and recommendation that makes weekend planning a breeze. The home was spacious and clean with all the amenities one could ask for. The outdoor space is truly a stunning 180 degree view of beautiful Sebago. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and playing lawn games and renting pontoons to check out Frye island and the sandbar. Truly a unique home and experience and would recommend this home to anyone looking to experience some of the best of what Maine has to offer
